Calls each A.M., but when I pick up the phone, no body is on the line.
What is going on?

Calls me too.  I just don't answer it.  My general policy:  If they don't leave a message I'm not picking up or returning any call.  It might be a computer trolling for numbers with humans who answer.

Called my unlisted, not published number asking for name of distant relative, dead for 25 years. Obviously  based on erroneous linking of database info. Person they were looking for has different number under different name.

CONTINUAL HARASSMENT FROM CELL TO HOME FROM THIS NUMBER

Harrassing phone calls everyday and now on Sundays.

They are using another number but same name... Toll Free Call...  866-621-6797

The number is the American Lung Association.  Spread the word to stop giving money to the American Lung Association. They are paying for robo calls every night and they are immoral and unethica.

Does  anyone know how we can contact the American Lung Association to complain about these robo calls- real tired of getting these calls every day.

Leaves NO message, NO one there when you answer, NO one answers returned calls.

American Lung Association - call the number back and follow directions to remove your number from the calling list.

Excellent advice.  I called back and following the automated system to remove my number - says it will take 30 days for the request to go though.  I would have never thought to call back this number.  Thanks.

American Lung Association says that they aren't asking YOU for any money, but wants you to send out mailers (which they provide) to all the neighbors on your street for donations.  Instead of wasting time to call people, they could have send the mailers out themselves!

Called Saturday, March 17 @ 4:10 p.m. TOLL FREE CALL on caller ID. Barely got through the 3rd ring before it stopped, a sign it's an automated call. If I get frequent calls from a number like this, I block it.

Leaving this message on each of the numbers that have been calling...
This number just called at 9 am and woke me up (2nd shifter).  I don't answer these calls but keep track. 855.632.3125, 3126,3124,3123, and 3121 have now called me six days out of the last seven. If the ALA had sent a letter in the mail I "might" have donated but I will NEVER give them a cent now due to their harrassment phone calls!  Just why do non profits and political calls get a free pass on the DO NOT CALL list??

interesting msg below...saying the reason for the hangups is they are testing to see when we are home and answer the phone....
the hang ups are one reason why i don't even bother to pick up!  
BUT, I did call the number back -american lung association- and you do get a recording explaining what the american lung association does...but you quickly get to the prompt to enter your number to have it removed from their call list.  the recording does say federal law allows them 30 days to remove it...but they will try to have it removed within the "next couple of days"...

this is the first time i have tried this...always think i will get a live high pressure sales rep...
but i think i will try again...on one of the many unavailable or unknown numbers

as far as the do not call list....i was told by one telephone sales rep that even though we are on the do not call list...they call us because we are a member of a "partner" of theirs.  That means if you are a member of a frequent flyer program, or something like Hilton Honors program or even AARB, AAA, etc...the small print ...you have agreed to recieve these calls/mailings!

Has anyone noticed that if you answer one of these unavaiable calls they call back the next day about the same time.

This number is now calling claiming to be someone from Comcast. Call back again and get the same person. Not possible to call and get the same person twice. They also have a fake hold function that does not match any Comcast hold music. Called Comcast Directly. No contact was attempted to me. MAJOR SCAM!
