Calling me REPEATEDLY trying to get account and debit card information from me and threatening me with a federal warrant and suspension of my driver's license.  When I told them to stop calling me, their representative Rachelle Hicks told me she would call me as many times as she wanted and that she was going to have me arrested.

She just called me with the same bull!  She would not give me the address are company name.

Any idea who this is? They just called me too!

Stated I commited a wire transfer and alleged fraud and theft of services. Stated my license would be suspended. Never heard of them.

Telemarketer keeps calling me with threats about my sister committing wire fraud, which I know she did not do. . . harrassing calls, however, I am returning their call tomorrow - I have LOTS to say.  I will find their address and report them to the Attorney General in the state where they are located.

Just called again, threatening my drivers if I dint respond.case #14849. I contacted an attorney and he said, even if it is a real debt they are not allowed, by federal law, to leave private financial info on vm. I don't even give my name on my vm, just my number and they leave these threats! The attorney says to save all vm messages from them because we could turn around and sue them!

I just received the SAME threatening phone call stating that they needed to discuss "bank fraud I committed against my county."  Said they would revoke my CDL.  What kind of BS is this?  I returned their call and only got an answering machine message.  Seems like they are committing a CRIME to me?  I'm happy to hear I'm NOT the only one.

I've been receiving calls from unidentified person and company repeatedly.  I never return calls as it appears to be a scam.  Recent call today was threatening legal action and suspension of drivers license.  I don't know who this is or why they have my number (it's always on my cell  phone).  How do I file a complaint to get this stopped!  They left a different number to call with a case number -- and I'm not responding to it.

Patsy - what happened with this? Were you able to sue? Did the calls stop. I received a threatening voice mail from a "blocked" number saying I've commited bank fraud and per Travis County, Texas penal code 513-27 my driver's license would be revoked or suspended.

i just got my licence suspended for 90 day's because of a debt i owed and procces server came to my place of business and served me with paper work to appear in court

Harassment and Fraud are Prohibited
State law prohibits the use of harassment and abusive collection tactics. It is illegal for any debt collector to:

threaten violence or other criminal acts;
use profane or obscene language;
falsely accuse the consumer of fraud or other crimes;
threaten arrest of the consumer, or repossession or other seizure of property without proper court proceedings;
use the telephone to harass debtors by calling anonymously or making repeated or continuous calls;
make collect telephone calls without disclosing the true name of the caller before the charges are accepted.
The use of fraudulent or deceptive practices is also prohibited, including:

using a false name or identification;
misrepresenting the amount of the debt or its judicial status;
sending documents to a debtor that falsely appear to be from a court or other official agency;
failing to identify who holds the debt;
misrepresenting the nature of the services rendered by the collection agency or the collector;
falsely representing that the collector has information or something of value in order to discover information about the consumer.
