Calls constantly--no messages

They did not leave a message so I called them back. This is CVS Caremark prescription company. They were phishing to sell me some plan to lower my co-pay amount thru my employer. I told them not to bother me again I hung up on them...

CVS telemarketing. Very annoying

This number called me 4 times a day for several days and would never leave me a message. I tried calling back, but the line would be silence. Finally they called when I could answer and it was CVS Caremark wanting to "help me save on my prescriptions."  

That's not phishing

They're not phishing for anything.  You don't know what phishing is.   They're trying to help you take advantage of mail order discounts through your prescription benefit.  Buying month to month at your local pharmacy is more expensive, and when you can buy a multi-month delivery it's generally cheaper than a local pharmacy can provide.

They are asking for personal information, that should be enough to be worrisome. If they want to tell me something they can send me information.

They called me and told that they had papers they wanted to serve me...

This is CVS Caremark.  I do not even have prescriptions I get on a regular basis. I have explained this to them that and asked them to quit the constant calling (at all hours of the day, sometimes as late as 9:30 EST).   I still get calls, usually a month apart and 3-4 days in a row.  No messages left but I now know the number so I dont answer anymore.

Cheaper yes however much less secure and not on the needs of the user of the medication.  you are at the mercy of the mail order pharmacy to deliver and and the post office to deliver - and if they are lost in the mail good luck, back to the Dr. another perscription, send it in to the pharmacy and hope it is not a critical medication if so you need to pay for expedited filling.  Phising may not be the correct term however it is anoyoing and it is telemarketing.

I got a call from them, but when they asked me to confirm the medications I have prescribed I told them I don't have any and hung up.  Sure sounded like a phishing attempt to me. I have not had prescriptions with CVS for years.

For those who do not think this is phishing, I will be glad to call you and ask you to tell me the medications you have prescribed too. I'll even identify myself as a provider of your choice.

They keep calling ... leave no message on the answering machine. If I answer the phone & say Hello, I get no response... they just hang up!!

This is a scam.  They are not affiliated with CVS Pharmacy in anyway.  They probably received stolen ID's from the recent hacks to major companies, government agencies, etc and just need a little more information to clean you out.

It has to be phishing or telemarkers breaking the law since i am on the do not call list and do not have any prescriptions ever from cvs but since rite aid is also part of cvs now that might be how they got it.

Know for a fact that this is a scam.  The real number for cvs caremart is 800-552-8159.  This other number is a total fake.  They should all be arrested.
