These people calling from 1-855-676-2777 are nothing but a collection company trying to use whatever scare tactics they can to get money from you.  IGNORE THEM!!!!!  I consider them the lowest form of human beings trying to collect money from people who do not owe it or don't have it. They need to take a good look at themselves and identify with America. They should be ashamed of themselves not only working for foreign company scumbags but what kind of people they really are. They do not have self esteem to be working for foreigners. They need to find a real job, an American job.  IGNORE those calls and do not give them the time of day. Tell them they have the wrong number and to quit calling you and by US American law, they are suppose to quit calling you.

My 86 year old mother in law has been getting calls from Monument Financial 1-855-676-2777 recently (January 2014) attempting to resolve a debt they purchased in my name.  They are not only rude and very pushy but they threatened if she did give up my contact information they would serve her in the lawsuit as well!  In her good nature she wanted to help me out and requested information about the "case number" and balance.  After the "para-legal" on the other end of the telephone told her anything she wanted to hear, they asked if SHE WOULD RESOLVE THE PAYMENT WITH A ONE TIME CREDIT CARD payment.  Not only did they illegally contact/harass my elderly mother in law, they then proceeded to attempt to collect payment from her!  She is a little old, but still as sharp as it comes, so she asked for their physical address and phone number and she would get back to them.  The worst part is I paid this "debt" years ago and still have the Release of Liability.  I sent them the release, and they still call her at least once a week.  They are corrupt and dishonest, they tried to steal money from my elderly mother in law.  Does it get any worse?  

On March 28, 2014, one of their employees or agents (Monica Wells-“Locator”) calling on behalf of Monument Financial Company contacted me and claimed I owed a debt to GTI Holdings in the amount of $430.00. She told me I had one opportunity to contact the firm or legal action was being taken. I called the number she gave me and I was refused to be given an original account number by Veronica at ext. 314 but I was given a claim # 1901223 for legal actions being taken against me.

One of their agents was leaving messages regarding a claim # 1901223 and threatening to take legal actions on my home voicemail relating to a debt owed to GTI Holdings, that other people have access to. They hung up (I get text messages when I have a new message on my home phone) and called my cell phone numerous times until I picked up. Once I answered she was threatening to have legal papers sent to my work if I didn't hang up and contact the debt holder. I had already contacted the debt holder and told them I was at work and would deal with it later and when I tried to explain that to the lady and told her to stop calling me while I was at work and to stop being rude and ignorant to me, she said "Okay well then I will have you served at your place of employment!" and hung up on me. She then proceeded to call me numerous times until approximately 7 p.m. that night. These people are in violation of the FDCPA and refuse to give me their mailing address or anything else so that I can send a Cease and Desist Letter. They also refuse to give me their lawyers information and state ID License number. They're a joke, Don't pay them ANYTHING!

i worked for monument financial over a year ago.  i quit the company because the owner, Anthony (when you call the number that the "process servers" give you he is one of the people who you might talk to) screwed me out of 2 paychecks, was playing favorites in the office to a child molester (http://patch.com/california/murrieta/murrieta ... oliciting-minor) and a girl who was sucking his dick after work.    now because i worked for the owner Anthony, i can no longer find work with other call centers in my area because he has screwed most of them.  the process servers say they are in a completely different building  this is a lie.  anthony and keith (the monument guys) are in thier own little offices while the independent contract people calling ppl "the "process servers") are in the rooms next to the offices.

DO NOT GIVE MONUMENT FINANCIAL A SINGLE PENNY!!  9 out of 10 times they are calling about debt that is outside of the statute of limitations.
