keeps asking me to put in the number I received the call at over and over ..... no message

French company name, in French, ending in "Du Quebec". Spoken way to quickly for me to write it down and get it translated. I don't know who they are or what they want. I'm not French. I don't do business in Quebec. I don't go to Quebec. I don't know anyone in Quebec. I don't have a French Visa card. They've got my name right and they want me to push a number to confirm it.  They may think Anglos are stupid. That's just insulting, I'm not going to fall for that! What ever these people are up to the calls are unwanted.

You do know that Quebec is in North America, don't you.       You do know that you would not need a French Visa to go there, don't you?

.... by french visa he means a Desjardins Visa CREDIT CARD... Desjardins is the company that phones from this number. Not a travel visa...

Do you have a future shop credit card?

How dare can you say something like  "They may think Anglos are Stupid."  Did you even been there, did you even move from you own place except to go into a resort?  It's a French name company whit Anglos people working for.  Grow up a bit.

Desjardins Visa Card. They will call if you missed a payment, like I just did. I only got the card because I financed my Lasik MD surgery in Ontario through Desjardins and they automatically sent me the card.

The caller keeps calling... several times a day.  They DO NO IDENTIFY themselves buy call me by name, but not quite correctly.  The first words out is my name, not quite correct.  They ask that I press ONE if it is me.  Two if it is not.  Then they ask if I made a payment... and the amount of the payment.     I am thinking... who should I have been making a payment too?????  Suspicious??  Yes indeed.

They keep calling and never leave a message. did a search of number and see others are getting this too and it seems to be  a fraudulent call.

It's Desjardins Visa, I got the call because i financed through Leon's furniture and missed a payment

This number is from Desjardins, you have a card with them (For me it is a BestBuy store card). You have missed a payment.

... many store cards run through Desjardins... they will call when payment not received on exact due date and keep calling multiple times per day/night until payment made... They also phone about special deals,,,

18556919580 keep calling my number and the third call, I answered and it is a recorded message that said, this is Dejave credit card services press 1 to confirm if you are so and so (my mom's name) stating that she owe them money but my mom does not even have a credit card! Then the message continued to say that if you did not yet forward the payment and you are not the person press 2.  I totally believed  it is a SCAM!!!!! Public pls. be aware and be careful of these kind of SCAM callers.
