Comcast tech - return of equipment.

Hmmmm, I have never had  ANY comcast equipment in my life and  they call on cel phone which I had had for years !!
Think it's a scam

Caller ID read: Tech Supressed
A prerecorded message stated that someone had changed or cancelled our service and Comcast wanted their equipment back.  If we didn't return it soon someone would be by to pick it up.  Any questions go to www.comcast.com or if you think this is an error please call 855-692-3151.
First of all Comcast is not a dot com, they are a dot net.  A check of the number they instructed me to call if I believe this to be an error has been reported on other sites as a telemarketer which has 2 complaints against it.
I guess being on the "Do not call" list doesn't mean squat!

I got a phone call from 855-692-3151 and did not answer because I didn't recognise it. They left a message and I could not understand any of it the voice sounded demonic. Really creepy!!!!!! I want to know where this # is from. Please help......

that is a really creepy message...its' comcast number return equimpment .... but the sound- voice was not reconizable!

The same thing JUST happen to me!! It sounded like someone was laughing then there was heavy breathing!! Ugh creepy

Same here.  A 1:46m message of a barely audible, low demonic voice, super slow talking, no idea what was said. Creepy.

I had the demonic voicemail today. Creepy!

Satan left me a voicemail. I guess com cast really wants their stuff back.

I got rid of comcast and returned my equipment when the comcast man himself came to the door. They still call me about 6 times a day and this time left me a death threat!!!!!!!!!!!! They are in big trouble now! I am not the one!!!!!!!

Yeah well... Comcast... if your number didn't come up as having originated in Cambodia - I might pick it up.

Hey guys... i just received this voicemail along the same lines that you all did.. that.. low, almost animalistic growl. I called the number as soon as i got home, just the simple "thank you for calling.." i couldn't catch the name it was either too low to understand but what i did catch was, " ..On behalf of Comcast..." That alone struck me as odd, but i ignored it.. Honestly, i will admit, i was pissed at this point, they called me on my fiance's phone while i was at work, and left this, and of course i didn't even bother listening to it at first, my fiance did after i got home and i was relaxing..(apologies for jumping around, i am really on edge after what just happened, i am getting there.)
After waiting on a obnoxious  hold music with a recording interrupting literally every thirty seconds apologizing for me being on hold, this didn't calm me down any what so ever. Once i was actually answered by a rep i let off on her, again.. i was pissed, i couldn't help myself, a five minute voice-mail like that, not havin' it.
A bit of backstop i believe is needed before i go any further. I myself also work in a call center and i know how it is to have to deal with irate customers, i really do, so maybe i should have been a little nicer you would think.. no, and i will explain. Also, i too have canceled my Comcast service, i moved across the country to a spot that doesn't have their service,( thankfully) and unfortunately my old roommate rather then turn it in like she said she would, threw the modem and cable box away. So maybe this is their target, i have no clue but.. back to the call..
Once i got connected i refused to give her my number and i went on to what was happening and i wanted to know why the F*CK they were leaving me these messages, but, i don't know where she was from but the female had a very thick, middle eastern accent, and i don't really think she could understand me, because she kept going back to the same thing, trying to get my call back number and account info, and i WOULD NOT give it to them, eventually it led to a shouting match at the phone, and even stepping out her getting off her lazy [***] and getting her manager, which she kept trying to tell me she either didn't have one then eventually the supervisor wasn't available, and it took 15.. 20 minutes i think of yelling at her, telling her how poor her De-escalation skills f*cking sucked and FINALLY got a supervisor, and she wasn't any better, finnally i told HER to wait a sec, pulled up my voice-mail and made her listen to it, and she freaked out and hung up, and i called back, i was on hold for half an hour before giving up and hanging up again.. but then i got called again... and.. it talked.. in that same voice.... it told me i shouldn't have done that... in the same, growling... gurgling. clicking voice.... i understand voice morphers... recordings... but this.. this has to be some really top of the line sh*t and it knew my name, not the one camcast has, but the mane only my friends know... and it was the same comcast number... what the f*ck is their problem.. if i get another call i will keep you all updated

Sorry about the typos, and also forgetting what the voice said, i am currently at work and was on my break and had to rush it.
All the voice (which is now what i am calling it,) said was " You shouldn't have done that" and hung up, no where did i get the normal, " this cal is being recorded for training purposes" or any kind of recording saying it was even from Comcast, but it was the same number none the less, i am going to keep on my day today here at work... i hope this is over..

The same thing just happened to me less than half hour ago.  I said the same thing. It was a demonic voice. I have Comcast .. But it wasn't them.  Weird.
