Says not a debt collector in voice mail.   Does not give company name only a case number.  They present themselves like IRS.

They called me too. They also left me the exact same message. They said they left me messages and sent me a letter( never got mail). This is a new scare tactic. No accout#  No case # Sounds like a scam to me.

Mr. Salerno called representing himself as an attorney. He said he is calling from NCA. They are a joke and will try to scare the [***] out of u with pretend case members like they are legit. I called ED the police and the office recommended to contact the Federal Trade Commission to report them. They will call all sorts of family members even ur job to scare u into paying. Do not pay them a dime. I have been saving all voice mails that they leave.

Same guy called me, Mr. Solerno. Acting like he is "on my side" throwing out all kinds of numbers, all of which make no sense. He said it was regarding a pay day loan and called it a misdemeanor. The amount of the loan made absolutely no sense, and it was definitely not something I had done. Who owes over $1,200 for a payday loan? What a joke! When he asked me if I wanted to settle outside of court for $315, I told him I would need to do some research because nothing he was saying made sense. He immediately hung up on me! What a scam.

Don't pay them anything its not even a legit collection company. .They will try these scare tactics by calling ur relatives, old boyfriends even your kids..They use like a people search or a skip trace type of database to get personal information. .Payday companies will even sell ur personal information to them to con u out of ur money..most likely the payday loan company is not even legal. .don't let their phony case numbers or fake attorney jail threats scare u. Contact the FTC and ur states attorney to file a complaint..Mr. Salerno is not his real name he is no attorney..
