this number is the free number they call for you when you have a callback question on your nelnet these people are very nice and helpful on questions you may have on a bill. no need to be nervous or afraid of them , if you owe money this is the group tp go with no aventar or others are as helpful and understanding this group called NELNET.

NELNET is calling about your student loan, BUT they are sooooooo nice and extremely professional.  They really work with you and I feel much better after talking to them!

Phone message left indicated they were calling me about my daughter's student loans since she had listed me as a reference.

Apparently, these folks are a debt collection agency pursuing University of Phoenix student loans.  I've gotten two messages left from them over the past 8 months - these recordings are such that they begin when my answering machine message starts so that I can only hear the last portion of the message.  I have no idea who they are for and we've received nothing in the mail.  No one in our home has ever attended the University of Phoenix.  The last message that they left, yesterday, indicated that they would be posting 'account information' to my facebook page and emailing me an 'account summary.'  Actually, I don't know if it was me or not since, as I mentioned, the identity of the person for whom they are looking was obliterated in the message by our answering machine message.  These people are scam artists:  They do nothing in writing via the USmail, and they threaten to post on facebook which, in this country, is illegal.  The only country on this planet that allows such is New Zealand.  They also send out 'shills':

This number called me last week and left a message on my answering macting that they were from a *muffled sound* Doctor's office looking for *another muffled sound.*

Criminals - lying about who they are.  They are in violation of so many laws I don't know where to begin.  If they had legitimate business, they wouldn't need to lie.  Losers.

Ignore all the praise posts validating this company. Those are posted by these scammers. Even if, at best, they are debt collectors, they are still deceptive, annoying scum.

I have gotten several calls for months from this number. They say there are for the student loan services and are asking for what sounded like "Desha Moore". No one that I know of. When I called back a while ago to ask what exactly they wanted, i was immediately asked to enter my social security number. I hung up and now  am constantly being harrassed by this number leaving messages on my  machine up to 3-5 times a day. How to get rid of this? I don't know.

I'm getting calls for a Samual King.  I answered and told the lady I am NOT Samual King and that I have had this number for years.  Please remove me.  She said she would.  So far they have not stopped calling. They are also texting me saying I have 48 Hrs (to bring my account up to date) I have gotten this for several days.  So much for the 48 hour limit. They list this number 855-720-8905 as a call back or reply STOP to OptOut.  I am filing a complaint with my cell carrier.

This poster is correct.  This number called my house within minutes of my contacting them by telephone to put my loan in forebearance.

I looked in Netnet's email and their number is 888.486.4722. I am not sure who these people are leaving me a message to check my email, Facebook and email.

They are a federal student loan forgiveness company for people with disabilities. I was referred to them by my loan holder after I qualified for disability. They have been super helpful in getting my loans forgiven in a fairly short amount of time. They are also known as www.DisabilityDischarge.com and this has been a great and smooth experience for me!

ANOTHER SCAM!!! First off, they said the message was for Philip Hughes, that's not my name...neither first nor last. 2nd, I don't have any student loans that need forgiving.  Do not call these people back and block their number if you can.

These people called me four times yesterday and wanted to [***]. I told them they would have to stand in line.

I just received a call from this number, and they "once again" asked for "Tonya", who must have had my phone number YEARS ago, as my cell phone is business issued through Verizon. She must have not been paying her school loan. I block them everytime, but they must have a large amount of outgoing lines, since they come in on caller i.d. under different number each time. I never answer calls unless I recognize the number now, and then check on internet for history on phone number.  It helps.

It's just Nelnet student loan servicers. They actually are nice. If they reach you in error just tell them they have the wrong number, they'll take your number right off the list.

The call was from NELNET - a student loan servicer.  It is legit, as our son's student loans will enter repayment status in a couple of months.

This is a debt collection service for student loans.  I don't have any but my daughter does. She is homeless and currently in jail, so there's not much they can do to collect from her.  The fellow was professional and courteous.  A far cry from other debt collectors who try to reach her through me.

Scammers trying to get my information, saying they are student loan company. They say that they are with nelnet/Firstmark services. I called them directly on a different number and they had no idea why I was called.
