Commercial Recovery Systems (“CRS”) violated the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (“FDCPA”) by threatening to sue consumers, obtain liens, judgments, or garnish wages without any intention of doing so according to consumers who filed FDCPA lawsuits. Consumers also alleged that CRS disclosed their alleged debts to other people including relatives, employers, and even landlords. Several consumers alleged that CRS’ representatives harassed, abused, belittled and even cursed at them.

9-2-2014.CRS-COMMERCIAL RECOVERY SERVICE. Our still in business. Got calls on both cell & home phone. Said they would take you to court. Never did say for what?./.   But did give a case number to remember. Said name was Thomas Cline.

Just got a call from this number. I didn't answer since it was unknown. Left me a message saying they are trying to get in contact with my ex-husband for some complaint. Threatened to submit the complaint to the local court district if we did not cooperate. I have no idea why they are calling. How did they even get my number?

I received a message from a lady that I worked with 16 years ago in San Diego.  This company called my old place of employment. They said that needed to reach me regarding a complaint in a county in the Midwest. They threatened to file a complaint with the county clerks office if I didn't comply.   I have no idea what they want. They don't even identify themselves.  I am calling that county's clerks office tomorrow morning to find out what this is all about of if it's even real.
