Refuse to answer ... no idea who it is ...

This number keeps calling but no one says anything. stop!

at least 2 calls daily from this number without any one on the other end

I am having the same problem with this number.  I tried to block the number in my call blocker system, but it would not accept the number.  There has to be a way to find the person who has this number!!!!

I spoke three times with the callers from this number...they state it is a hospice organization and ask it they can count on us again this year for another donation. Each time I questioned the name of the group and it is some generic response seldom the same each time; I explain that We NEVER gave them any past donations especially since one time the girl said they were located in Tennesee..ANOTHER time in the Carolinas ....no even near the State where I live. Each time the  person argued with me demanding that I put my husband on the phone. They know his first name BUT not his surname for some odd reason. I continue to question the person and they always get annoyed demanding to speak to my husband. When I tell them NOT TO CALL BACK each person slammed the phone muttering as they hung up on me,,,GREAT I thought.... but the calls continue to come again and again,

THIS NUMBER HAS CALLED MY HOME PHONWE AT LEAST 6 TIMES TODAY, BUT WILL NOT ANSWER AFTER I SAY HELLO, THEN THEY JUST HANG UP ! I AM DISSABLED AND ITS' HARD TO GET TO THE PHONE. I HAVE 3 VISITING NURSES CALLING ME BEFORE THEY COME TO CHECK ME OUT...I CAN'T TAKE NO MORWE !
THE NUMBER IS 8557834424...WHO IS IT THATS CALLING ME. I WANT THEM ARRESTED. I AM AN OLD LADY, AND SICK TOO.

I hear you and feel for you; For I know exactly what you are going thru with these ignorant people that are calling from this supposed number of 1-855-783-4424; This number being displayed on caller ID might actually be a "spoofed" number and not even real or a number belonging to someone else; This is why it is so difficult for the FTC or FCC to do anything with this; You can try having someone help you with registering a complaint, But that's still not a guarantee for any of this to stop. Hang in there, And just have some fun with it when you get one of these call's, say to them "Oh I'm SO Glad you called ... I was getting lonely with no one here wanting to have a conversation with me .. will you have a conversation with me? .. your voice sounds (even if it don't) so nice dear ... its so sweet for you to (even though it isn't) call and talk with me today" and if they haven't hung-up on you already by this time I'm sure Shure that they are already putting you on their no call list even without you asking! Receiving multiple daily calls from this number 855-783-4424, when answered no one is on the other end of the line. when I called the number back, it immediately says to leave message

We receieve multiple calls from the originator every weekday. They refuse to leave a message on the answering machine. Enough already!!!

Keep getting these calls finally decided to answer and as soon as I said hello...they hung up. I called that number right back and got a voicemail, nothing about who they are, figures right. I left two messages to remover my number from their calling list if they are just going to hang up as soon as I say hello. Going to the do not call.gov and report them.

We receive calls from this tel. # frequently today we have received 3 phone calls one each hour and at this time it is only 11:15 We have caller ID so we  do not answer any calls not identified and who we do not know

keeps calling & calling.  I don't answer and the party does not leave a message.

been calling me almost every day and at least 5 times a day

I receive several calls every day from this number. I want it to stop. I am registered with the "do not call registry. Why isn't the call intercepted?

I have the same problem as the others.  Today when they called I was listening to a recorded  message from Dr. calls.  I let the phone up to the message and just let him listen.  Next thing they just hung up.  LOL
I just don't answer the call.  Now that I know everyone else is having the same problem I will just pick up and then hang up.  I thought at first it was a political call.  Now I know.

One site which listed this number as a complaint number states that this number is protected by DNC. The only DNC that I know of is the Democratic National Committee. Maybe they didn't like what I posted about Obama and Landrieu and Reid.  If anyone else has ever said anything anti-Democratic Party on FB or in a letter to the editor in a newspaper or on Twitter, please post the connection. It may well be their childish way of retributions.

This number keeps calling us, at a place of business and hanging up, or they ask for Bernice.   There is no, nor ever was a Bernice at this number.  They will not tell me who they are or even what they want.
