A message was left on my VM regarding a legal document I needed to sign and if I did not respond legal action would be taken against me. I called the phone number and spoke to an extremely rude man that informed me that they were looking for someone entirely different than me. He's obviously a loser that takes out his frustrations in life by being rude to others. Just another scam with a bunch of losers looking to make a quick buck.

I just had some what sounded like a real mean man leave me a message on my voicemail at work threatening legal action if I did not return the call, so if this is a scam I will not return the call, I will report it to our Attorney General.

they are a firm out of ny and they can't do what they are inferring they can.  its a company called globalcheckprocessing.com out of ny.

I had a message left on my voice mail from a very rude man. He needs to make sure the number he is calling is the person he is looking for!!!!!

I just called this number and found out they are actually looking fo rmy ex-husband. We have been divorced since 2000!!!! They really need to make sure they are contacting the person they need prior to leaving a message sounding like a threat!!!

I have had a bunch of messages left on my phone by a guy looking for someone else and when i called to let them know he hung up on Me. Very rude and i hope they stop calling now..

Same exact thing happened to me.

Received a voice mail from them (a person named T***y M*****s) on 2014-01-20 at 14:11 Eastern time, on my business phone. This is a debt collection company: Global Check Processing, Brooklyn NY, http://www.globalcheckprocessing.net/ 
They are looking for a woman who defaulted on a loan, gave an address in Leavenworth KS and my business number in Atlanta GA. (Isn't that in any way suspicious? Don't loan officers check if the address & phone are at least in the same area code?) I have been telling various collection companies for more than three years that I do not know that person and that since this is a VERY small company I personally know every person who has ever worked for me. The person who answered the phone at Global Check Processing was polite, explained the situation, and said I would not get any more calls from THEM - he can't pull my number from records of other companies.

I rec'd a message stating they would be taking legal action if I failed to contact them. I called and asked them to look up my number to see who they were trying to reach as it was definitely not me that they were looking for. He said ok mam and hung up on me. The company is called global check processing and the number is 855-790-0086
