I've received 6 different text messages from 6 different numbers telling me to call this number in the last half hour.

I just got the same text message as the others.

I just got this same text.  The original number says it's from Alliance telephone group out of Minnesota.  Who are these people and how did they get my number?

I just got the same message and it is a scam to collect credit card info.  I called just to play dumb and see who they were.  They claim to be a company called Daily Recievers.  You call, they tell you you've won, and then ask for your credit card information. I asked how they got my number, and they said it was from a survey I completed a few months ago online (I never completed a survey) and this was their way of thanking me.  I told him I thought this sounded odd and he hung up on me.

I don't think there is any virus associated with this text, just a way of getting naive people to give them their credit card info, and maybe more.
