Rec'd a call from "Steven Clark"  at my work.  Called the number back and was informed that he would call everyday.  He asked for my phone number to reference.  I did not give him that info...

Got a phone call from that number yesterday and the guy said his name was Alex with Law Firm of David Harris. I needed to call him back to keep from being prosecuted. Well I called him back and today he is the Law Office of Baker and McKenzie  from Atlanta, Georgia and his name is Justin White. I got that information and he told me I owed money from a cash advance that was never done and never asked for from Cash Payday or something like that. I asked for his lawyers information and bar license number and he hung up on me after he said he would have a warrant out for me. Well, he is messing with the wrong person. I am a legal assistant and if I did owe money it would be a small claims court and not a civil court matter. Idiot. No need to worry just report the number and let your boss know about the phone  calls and put him on a block number. If he calls again get all the info ask for State Bar license number, address and let him know that he can go ahead an sue but you will have a counter suit on him for a fraudulent suit and make sure the attorneys that he works for are ready to be disbarred for making the fraudulent claims on many people. Also let him know that you have contacted authorities and the real attorneys where he claims to be calling from. He will stop. He hung up on me.

Thank you thank you thank you for your comment. I was so scared somone stole my identity and he told me i would be in jail and kept being a jerk. I was crying and he told me only guilty people cry and he didn't believe that i didn't take the money and it was also from some company. well as conversation went on i started seeing he was full of crap i used to be a collections manager and that is insane. I never EVER threatned people. and it went from 500 to settling for 250 he said i would lose in court. I said i want to talk to the company not you and i know they don't want to falsly accuse me or i will win. Man i was so scared i'm glad i didn't bug my husband at work because they told me i had three charges against me and would be thrown in jail.

I' so gald I read this message I'm having the same problem, some law firn calling with the name Law Office of Baker and Ray Mckenzie from Atlanta, he said the same thing to me. I told him I was going right this moment downtown to the court house, and he told me go ahead and hang up on me... How can we stop this? I have some law knowledge and I believe is someone is taking you to court you should receive some kind of certified letter....IDIOT!. If he call again I will try to get that information.

I got a call from 855-826-6770, i called back told ladythat answered i dont want to subscribe to them and leave my accounts and information alone,she had all my information,she said wait talk to my boss and transfered me to him,i told him not be using my accts,info that i do not have a loan and leave me alone,he then said i could be fined up to $8,000.00,and that i should get a lawyer or one will be ppointed to me,i didnot say anything,then he said how we going take care of it?i was quiet then he said again what u going to do?so i said first im going call my bank then go to police department ,man then curse me gd mf sob mf and hung up on me!  next day lady call me on my cell# again and said my last 4 ssn# to call back!
