- W.E. JacksonThis is a customer service number for First Tech Credit Union in Oregon.
They called my cell phone number while I was at work and asked for my daughter.
Since I have been the victim of Identity Theft in he past, I asked what the matter was about?
A man named "Jarett" said it was about a car loan. I asked what type of car since there are five cars listed at our address. He said the "Lexus". I have never owned a Lexus.
I asked was the loan in default or was there a late payment? He said no but just wanted some additional info. I asked what was the full name of the person listed for the number he called and he gave it to me. What bothered me was that he had my "correct" telephone number for the "wrong" person. My daughter also called the bank and suspects that maybe someone transposed one of the zero's in my cell phone number? Strange call I hope some wise guy is not trying some shenanigans again with my SS# or Phone#.- Caller: First Tech Credit Union
- a customerFirst Tech Credit Union - You'd think they could have a caller ID identifier.... I never answer the phone with a number I don't recognize. They left VM, want feedback on a survey! When you ID yourself, I'll do it but not until because I'm not calling abck and I won't answer your call as a number....

- First tech customerGot a call, they pretend to be First Tech Fed fraud department. They knew my phone, address and social. Then they asked for confirmation code to "decline transaction". Obviously, they needed it to sent money out of my account.
Reminder: never ever tell confirmation codes to anyone, no matter what they know.- Caller: Scammers

- Family from OregonWe got a call from 855-855-8805 regarding 2 fraudulent transactions on one of our credit cards. The caller (woman) indicated that transactions appear to be outside of credit card usual usage area. She also identified herself as a rep from the First Tech Fraud Department. She promised to mark fraudulent transactions as Disputed, but for that, she requested our online ID.
When we called to the real First Tech Fraud Dept we were told that there were no fraudulent transactions on our accounts and the First Tech did not call us.
Real First Tech callers would not require online ID or any other sensitive information. Be aware of that.- Caller: First Tech CU Fraud Dept rep

- TonyScammers are using this number to spoof caller ID from First Tech. First, I got a text from some random six-digit number asking me to verify some charges. Then I got a phone call from this number (spoofed ID) that told me there was fraudulent activity on the card ending in ****. They then asked me to verify my login ID to the website.
At this point, I knew it was a scam. I called the number at the back of my card, and the fraud department there said if they call, they don't ask to confirm anything. They request information only if I call them.
Real First Tech callers would not require online ID or any other sensitive information.
The scammer was very adamant that I look up the phone number he called from to verify it was legit.
A sophisticated attempt, but unsuccessful. It does bother me that the scammers had the last four digits of my CC, so I guess I need to change that.- Caller: Scam

- HannahGot a call from this number saying they were a part of First Tech Fraud Dept and that someone was trying to pull money from my account (I've gotten this call before from a real First Tech employee) and sent a code to reset my password to my phone without me asking for them to do that. I said I would call them back before doing anything to make sure it was legit and when I called back, the FT employee I talked to said that my card wasn't compromised and no one from their dept had called me. I checked again and it WAS their number though, so I can understand how some people would think it's the real FT. Changed my username and password before anything happend, thankfully.
