I am getting these calls on my cell phone. They don't leave a message. It's annoying!!!

I called the 855-863-9392 # back.  Red Flag #1)  I had to hold to talk to a person, and the message DID NOT identify the company.  Red Flag #2)  The gal who finally answered would only say the company was with college entrance information.  Final Red Flag #3)  The gal was NOT a native to the United States.  I'm assuming fraud.

I am getting 4-5 calls a day from this number. They never leave a message.

not bad enough i was getting these same kind of calls on my home phone, but not i am getting the same on my cell phone...........if no one has the courtesy to leave a message, why is one calling anyway.  my only recourse is to not answer any of these calls with numbers i do not recognize or like this one....one of those '8' numbers.  for me i will block this number and any subsequent numbers...........is there something else a person can do to keep our phones from needlessly ringing?  thanks for listening....

something peeked my curiosity about getting a grant to finish college.  i have approx 35 credits and was thinking of finishing up.  i saw an ad somewhere or got an e-mail or whatever, so i started to fill out this form to see what kind of grants would be available to me.  i was filling out page after page of info and it was getting to the point where they were just asking for too much info, so i aborted the inquiry but not until after i had already put in a contact number.  that number started receiving calls the very next day from the number mentioned above.  so even though i quit the registration, they still got a hold of my number and are constantly calling.  so if any of you did something similar, at least now you know the origin of these calls.

Before you select the "NO THANKS" button take your information out. You will notice the red dots requesting the information return. Always back out your information! In Cyber World if your information is there so is your permission reguardless of the no thanks button.

Who the hell is this and why are they calling me

This was exactly what happened to me - no sooner did I hit "submit" than I received a call from this #!

I did the same thing about grants. I get 2-3 calls a day! How do I block this number??

It is a Degree Councelling Agency. They try to match people with colleges. I must have entered my phone number on a site. I tried calling back and got a message and disconnected. They did not leave a message when they called my cell.

Ask your phone company to block them or id them. Otherwise dont answer no co no name calls.

RED FLAG!! I'm reading your messages saying the # is regarding colleges... well, I got a message from 978-296-0999 leaving a message to call back to this # 855-863-9392. They said they are from Blue Shield and need to ask me about a survey. BLOCK these numbers as they are fakes!
