This is a Collection Company called Convergent Outsourcing. I have a past-due account that is in collections and this copmany is the one handling it.

So far, 2 of the 3 people I have spoken to there are very understanding about my money situation and do not harrass me.

There is one lady there, though that is very rude. Whenever she calls, I hang up on her, call back, and speak with the next person that answers the call.

I am not a dead-beat, nor do I skirt my responsibilites, but I work in a construction office and our paychecks are sporadic. Sometimes two months go by and I don't get paid, so I get past-due on all my accounts. But I always pay as soon as I have the money. So when I explained that to Convergent, they laid off a little, though they still call me regularly for payments, not daily, though.

They have been calling my house all day.

they are always calling, i am on a no call list, there is a 10,000 dollar fine, they don't care.. They asked to speak to beth fisher.   she is my daughter, my god, they know where she lives.....she goes to school full time, has two little boys, divorced her druggie, alcoholic husband.  Everything was in her name as she did have very good credit, but he never paid for anything, she was working full time then.   He ruined her credit, used her credit cards, etc.   So she doesn't work, we help her get by.   We are retired.   She is studying to better herself.  We pay for most everything so she can graduate.

They are always calling, I am on a no call list, they don't care.   They asked to speak to Beth Fisher.  She lives in Fl.   I live in N.C. She is my daughter, my God they know where she lives.   She has no money, only what I send to pay bills. She goes to school full time, has two little boys, 6  and 8., divorced her druggie, alcoholic husband.    Everything was in her name as she did have very good credit, but he never paid for anything, she  was working full time then.  He ruined her credit, stole her credit cards in her name, etc. So she can't work,  as school is full time. We help her get by.   We are retired.   She is studying to better herself.   We pay for most everything so she can graduate next June.   She is struggling to get by.   The boys are in day care all day during the summer and before and afterschool during the school season..   If she had money she would pay her bills but unfortunately she was layed off permanently last summer.  She had worked there for 11 yrs.   They closed the company, shut the doors.   Since then she has had surgery 3 times with complications.  Now she is haaving surgery again as her bladder has turned and the pee stays in her. This started after she had her gallbladder out and had already had a hystectomy.   So sorry but she is trying to better herself and get on her feet.  .  When they call her she tells them the truth, but they still want money which she doesn't have.   She even lost her house thanks to her x-husband.

I was called by this number and I someone picked up my phone and asked what it was regarding. They wouldn't say. Then the person who answered said that she wouldn't call back then. They said this must be her. He was very rude. I guess it was Convergent Outsourcing like someone said above.

They called. I answered. They hung up. I called back and the guy who answered was rude as hell. His first words were , "what is your date of birth" I said please tell me who u r and what u want first. He said Convergent Outsourcing, now I need to get some information from you" first of all, if u can't tell me what ur calling for, then I can't tell u any information bout me cause I'm not getting scammed.

I got a call from this number just now. They asked me to verify my address and date of birth but wouldn't tell me what this was regarding. I refused to give them anything until they gave me more details and they refused to give me more details until I verified the information. It sounded like a scam, although the guy said he was from Convergent Outsourcing, so I refused to give any more information and he terminated the call. After looking at this website, I realized it was a collections agency, and thought this might be regarding a medical bill for my 2 year old son - my insurance rejected full payment and I can't afford to pay the rest.

First time for this number to call.  I didn't recognize the number so let voice mail pick it up; but, no message was left.  Maybe it's a spam call.  

They call me about once every 2 or 3 days. I answer every time. After about 10 seconds of silence, they hang up. I'm just going to block their number if they don't stop calling and hanging up.

They keep calling for someone that doesn't live here, and never did. They are very rude, and disrespectful when they call, and will not stop harassing us, even after being told that the person doesn't live here.

And the person they are asking for is in the phone book, and with a completely different number than us. But they keep harassing us every day.

Does anyone know who to contact to report them for harassment? Or is there no protection from being harassed by this kind of trash?

Get as much info as you can about the caller, company, who they are calling for and about. Keep track of times, days they call, if you receive 5 or more calls ( if you answer or not) contact and file a report with your States Attorneys Office, also do some research for your State, some States have such Legislation that allows fines. And of course if you are on the 'Do Not Call" list, file with them, though the Federal Gov. rarely follows thru with the complaints filed.

Someone from this number keep calling me and my husband, when we answer the phone no one says anything, this has happened at least five times.

They have called me about 4 times a day for the past 3 weeks.. I believe this is considered harrassment.

They call me every day and fill my inbox with no messages. the fact that they refuse to leave a message or even inquire about who they are means either they do this on purpose probably has better results than telling them who they are. At the same time I believe this is highly unprofessional for a large company. If you have to resort to spamming my phone. You think i will want to even talk to you. I called them back and I inquired who they were, they asked me if they called me first. I asked them again, who are you, they repeated their question again. I am a manager of a small private business with a very strong concentration customer service and fixing the wrong issues. I mean if you want to ask your questions first, how about you answer mine. Just some food for thought, I have even received a letter in the mail about pursuing legal action based on harassment. Who wakes me up, does not speak, and then starts to questions me. I would appreciate a good morning, how are you doing? I'm with a debt collection company, I wanted to inform you about  a debt, instead, I asked who is this, I get the reply, "dont be so rude" First of, you woke me up, second of all, you start threatening me, third, you refuse to answer who you are, if I may have debt, I am only going to pay the company I owe and I'm definitely not responding if you have my defenses raised up, there's too many scams these days. Citizens beware.

i had a past due with tmobile for a period of 2 weeks and they sent me straight to collections (convergent outsourcing ) cant believe these guys very rude and only for stupid 100dlls...
