For the last couple of days I have come home to Mr. Donald Sims leaving 2 messages on my home phone with horrible scratchy almost unable to understand and low, I thought it sounded like crap message so I just ignored it.  My sister called me and told me that there was 2 messages on my mom's home machine telling her that I had commited fraud and would be arrested immedialty if I did not return his message.  So I asked her for the number and came across all your messages. Is there a place we can report them to?  There has to be something we can do!

Yeah, what you can do is not steal from people using bad checks and then you won't have to worry about going to jail.

I recieved an almost inaudible message from this number and I could not make out who they were trying to reach. I called a Chris Sims or (Simpson). The guy said he didn't call anyone by my name. I told them I could not make out the message and he continued to suggest I listen. I told this guy, why should I continue to listen when you just told me you didn't call (my name). He said and I quote, "Well I sure hate for you to be arrested just because you and your husband just went to dinner on a bad check." I told him I had not had any checks stolen, nor had I written a bad check.

I felt half way threatened! What's going on? Who are these people?

I think the name was something to the affect of "Fraud Investigations". Not sure.

I received a call today from this enterprise.  The caller left a voicemail message, the first half of which was inaudible.  I was able to make out the caller's name (Chris Hawkins), the telephone number for a return call, and a closing that indicated I would be referred for criminal prosecution.  As a law-abiding citizen, I was intrigued by the message and returned the call.  I calmly described to Mr. Hawkins the facts stated above. His reply was astonishing.  He responded that I knew damn well the call was a wrong number, that I was "conveniently unable to hear the first part of the message," and that I needed to "get a life!"  He promptly disconnected the call.

The truth is, my life is sufficiently good that I do not respond to voicemail messages when I am aware that a call originating from some "800 service" number is intended for someone else entirely. I was compelled by Mr. Hawkins' low-brow antics, however, to contact his supervisor. Unfortunately, there was little discernible difference between Mr. Hawkins' and the supervisor's level of discourse. Despite the supervisor's lofty position with this Mickey Mouse outfit, he was unable to grasp the purpose of my call. He advised me that his underlings are trained to be a**holes with no regard to whom they are speaking. Sounds like a great business philosophy to me

left me repeated messages for a maria gonzales. No clue who that is and they leave an urgent message stating that she is going to jail. I am thinking it is serious so I return the call to let them know that they did not reach Maria. This man then proceeds to verbally harass me calling me a "loser" "liar" "stupid and worthless" and then proceeds to attack my ability to speak English (completely fluent btw) just because I pronounce Maria Gonzales the correct way. I ask to speak to the manager and get hung up on. I call back thinking that if I speak to a manager they can correct their employees behavior- nope. The manager then begins a tirade on me similar to the previous man and then the both taunt me by saying they will place my number on a list that will call me nonstop. a day later I receive a VM from a woman asking for some other person's name. She calls right back and I answer to let her know that she has the wrong number. SHE then yells at me that I am a liar and I am going to jail. RIDICULOUS WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS
