This number was answered by a woman with heavy Hispanic accent who says the company is Credence Resources - they are a bill collector. This is yet another call where someone gave my number as theirs - these people giving credit really need to verify phone numbers by calling them before they extend credit... it would stop a lot of this fake crap.

I never answer 800 numbers and this particular one keeps calling and calling and Imma block it in general

This number is a different person every time they call and they claim to be from different companies every time they call. Sometimes they won't tell me what company they're from, sometimes they say they're from my insurance, sometimes they're debt collectors, etc. it's really weird.

i answered the call they asked for someone that doesn't live here but how did they even get this number .. my mom does even own a credit card let alone anything else she doesn't make bill except rent to own which have been paid off sents ,2006 or 2007  I wood say dept collect but person doesn't live here so I couldn't say what does this concern sent its my number but they wood n't tell

Wont leave a message but calls everyday

This is a collections outfit used by ATT/U-Verse (with whom I actually do have a fully current landline account).  After daily calls from them, asking me to verify an address unknown to me, I went to the Credence Resource Management website, and called them at 855-880-4791.  The gentleman with whom I spoke was actually quite helpful, and it appears to be a case of identity theft, where someone in fact ran up phone equipment and service charges using my actual Social Security Number, before ATT/U-Verse cut off service when it hit $1000.  He said he would remove me from their call list as a "likely identity theft," and suggested that I (1) file a report with the police and (2) check my credit report.

Hopefully this will end the calls.  But you need to call their headquarters at the number shown above.  The reps who call, and their local supervisors, are boiler room types in India who are unable or unwilling to listen or tell you what is going on.

I fault ATT/U-Verse since they obviously extended credit to someone posing as me without running a credit check.  Had they done so, they would have discovered that my credit files at all three reporting bureaus are totally locked, for exactly this reason.  Hope this is helpful.  Good luck.

This number kept calling me, finally I decided to answer to have them remove me from their calling list.  The lady would not provide a reason for the phone call, rather requested that I verify a lot of personal information prior to the phone call, which of course I declined.  But I don't trust anyone that will not state the reason for the phone call.  Strange, as I know I am up to date with all my bills.

I have had a call from this company at least 50 times since we were issued this number a few months ago. They keep asking for a Kevin which each time that I wasted my time and answered I have told them that there in no Kevin here. They asked for my name and I told them they did not need my name and quit calling this number and that I was on the do not call list. How can I convince these people from calling? I would like to know if there is any way that I can make them pay for the calls. It is very annoying.

Keeps calling my house and cell phone.  I CAN'T UNDERSTAND THEM!  Yes, I owe money to AT&T and I will be paying AT&T, not some fly by night collection agency that can't employee English speaking people.  That's one reason why I cancelled AT&T, you call for help and you are talking with the Phillipines or India, or Pakistan or where ever!  When asking for the US, "sorry you have to call back and hopefully get the US".  Uh yeah, NOT!

BTW, I work in Norcross, GA also.  Just happened to drive by their "office"... or lack thereof!

The solution is simple.   Never answer your cell if the caller is not in your contact list. Can't identify it, ignore it.

They call 2or 3 times a day. This began a few weeks ago. I called the number back tonight and it is a debt collector. I am not behind on any debt.

CREDENCE RESOURCE MANAGEMENT, 3rd party collections for AT&T

I started getting calls from this number about a week and a half ago. I've never answered it, but they never leave a voicemail. I decided to look it up, and if it is indeed AT&T then they're sadly mistaken. I don't use anything from their company.

They call at least 2 times per day, on my cell and home phone - for the past 3 weeks.  I have answered several in an effort to tell them to get lost.  No one has ever answered, I only get silence.  Once I got a voice mail only to hear no personal message, just a lot of background chatter as if there were multiple people in one room on the phone.  I am on the federal and state "do not call" lists for my home and mobile phone.  How do they get away with this? I am reporting it to the state and federal authorities.

I'm not sure of the company, but his name was Paul Lewis...I'm not  sure why this number is calling me.
