Called the number back and they identified themselves as GC Debt Collection a lady Named Deborah answered. Just hung up because I have no debt.

Received a voice message and called back. They were looking for someone with my name born in a state I've never lived in with a date of birth years different from mine. I wasn't happy about the call but the woman was nice and said she would remove my WORK number from the list. I wasn't happy about that either...but she said that was the contact number given to her for this person. I know my identity hasn't been stolen but this just gives me the creeps.

Tell them not to call you ever again. By law they have to stop calling. If they keep calling you can sue them for $1500 and attorney fees. Several attorneys specialize in this type thing. Document what they say and record it. Tell them you are recording the call, they do not like that. Ask for their name and company name and have them spell it before they speak to you. By law they cannot lie about their name nor and have fake number on the caller id. Nor not show the name of the company on the caller id. If they use a robo caller leaving random messages that is illegal. Look the name of the company up and see what attorneys are suing them write now. have them sue them for you. Let the attorneys handle it. Owe it does not matter if you owe them money or not. Once you tell them not to call back call the appropriate attorney and collect your $1500.

Rude and unprofessional not even calling for me callind for someone else.  I called back and they did not identify themselves and were rude again and hung up on me.

Called multiple times.  Never actually says what they are calling for, or what company.  Just some guy's first name and to call them back.  I can see what you guys have said, and yeah, that's probably who it is.

Someone named Renee Johnson calls my cell phone everyday. i got a call at 7:45pm on the 12th of this month and at 8:02am on the 13th. Would not say where she was calling from. I told her she had the wrong number  and she said she would remove it. My cell tracks and keeps numbers till I delete them.

This company is now calling me at 7 and 8 at night on my personal house number!!! This is ridiculous. I have never worked with this company nor ever do I plan to and I have added myself to the do not call list 4 times now. I am so outraged, they disturb me late at night, I have asked them about 6 times now to stop calling and they won't. It's a debt collecting company, who either has the wrong number or is just plain stupid because I don't owe any debt.

Insisted they are a legal office and serving me.  Informed them they are breaking the law, guy was rude.  I am reporting them to the attorney general of my state and looking into a lawsuit.

I suspect they are a debt collector. They leave messages just stating their name and to return the call. They do not reference what the call is about. One message went like this:  "Hey.  It's Jim.  It's been a long time. Give me a call."  Really friendly message. But misleading. I don't know anyone named Jim.

Debt collector, seems like a scam. Shows up as "Unknown" when calling. They leave voice mail messages as "email@domain.com" even after I blocked their number. They keep asking for someone named Karen. That's not my name.

Auto recording left a message, but most of it was cut off.  To hear more, press 1; to be removed from the phone list, press 2.  Since they called my work line, I can only guess what it was about.  Probably wanted me to sell their insurance.  I have licenses I keep active, but I don't sell insurance.
