ANother heavily-indian-accented scam call claiming to have a serious legal matter to discuss. This time they called my work number, which I assume was stolen in a recent data breach. I want these people stopped, arrested, and fried

Foreigner calling my work stating they have a legal case against me and I must call them immediatly. Could barley understand the man but they causing serious problems at my work. Very annoying. So the next time they call, the front office lady will just give them a sex line phone# that charges $19 a minute

They just called me at work and told me they were going to have me arrested at my home within a half hour.

I was called on my cell and work number several times saying they had a legal matter and I would be arrested if I didn't listen to what he had to say.  I called him a scam and he got very upset and asked to speak to my supervisor...I hung up on him and he hasn't called back...yet.

Called my work and home.  Said I had a unpaid payday loan.  When I ask for details, got mad started yelling.  Heavy thick accent.  Said his name was Brian Walker.  

This guy is relentless, keeps calling my WORK, my boss is getting very angry with me. He yells at me that I am a false fugitive (lol wth!?) and he will tell my employer that I owe money.  I answer the phones here, but still.  I can't get them to stop calling, said his name was Mark Anderson, yea right, same thick Indian accent.

Just got the same call...I just hung up.

they have called me to tell me I owe them for a loan I never received. They say I got it 2009. I did not have a bank account in that year. They are spoofers. I have been calling them back . All i get is profanity and threatened to garnish my wages.
Good luck with that. Have to have wages to garnish. They are also affiliated with the number 702 722 9251.

These guys are really funny if they can't get you on the phone with that I would never ask you to try to get your lottery I got a dead relative I need help getting the country and be all this dumb crap they got nothing better to do I'm so sorry you're going through that.

They keep calling about me being arrested ..handle this please...I will be calling the FBI...
And reporting the scam ...an have charged bought against you...

He used the name Dennis said urgent legal matter i immediately looked the # up knowing i had no pending legal matters please catch these guys!!

Got call from this india guy cursing and threatening even knew my  ss#. clams to be a legal service.

I get these calls at my office every couple weeks or so, and they're always directed at one person (who doesn't even work here).  The caller is different every time, but always has a) a very thick Indian accent (I can understand about 75% of what they're saying), b) a very generically American alias (Christina Taylor, Mike Davis, etc.), and c) a very unconvincing scam script and method of delivery (I mean, c'mon... if you're gonna scam, put some heart into it!).  Additionally, they nearly always threaten to either sue or have this person arrested over some kind of debt.  Most of the time I let the calls go to voicemail (and some of these voicemails are truly gems of unintentional comedy), but once or twice I've had the pleasure of speaking to one of these "collectors"... and despite my repeated insistence that I am not _________, nor does ________ even work here, they continue to press the importance of me paying them to avoid legal action/getting my [***] arrested.

I seriously pity the person who is senile/mentally ill/gullible enough to get roped in by this.

I just recieved a two minute voicemail from this number. I could barely make out what the man was saying...something about attorney and I need to call him back immediately. He said his name was officer Matt something. I'm assuming this is a scam?

Like everyone else. I get 6-8 calls a day. I laugh at them and they get mad. I call them scammers they get mad and call back like I am really gonna answer. There has to be something the FBI or attorney general can do.

They knew my ssn!!! And they recited it to me along with my phone number, adress, and work address and phone numbers. Im sick of this. How do we report this??

Going through the same thing. Call my cell all day and my work. Thank God my work finds the humor in it all and will now give them  false # to call. They claim they have a legal matter, they are the the crime bureau. When I call the guy out who I can barely understand, he began screaming at me telling me to stop lieing. I am going to file a report with my local pd office for harrasment.

Revolting parasites trying to scare you in to paying them money that you don't owe. Treat them with the contempt they deserve.

The guy asked for an old client of ours and when I said he didn't work here, he started calling me a liar. I hung up and he proceeded to call for 15 minutes all of my phone lines. My boss spoke with him and he started yelling at him and cursing. He kept harassing and we kept sending all these calls to voice mail. Finally I picked up a line by accident trying to get an outside line to call the police and he started calling me a m*thrf*ckr and son of a b*tch. I asked him "Are you threatening me?" He said "Yes you son of a b*tch" then I said, "Are you threatening my life?" And he said "Yes"... that is when I called the police. They said it wasn't really a threat but will still be sending a police man out to the studio. I doubt they will do anything... :(    Who are these people and why are they such losers?
