Mine was a message purporting to be trying to contact me, with some (I'm sure) bogus "case number" and instructions to call back immediately. More scams emerging I think?

I received a robocall from these scammers asking for information on my whereabouts, so I decided to call them back and have a little fun in the process.
Scammer: Investigation (that's how the phone was answered)
Me: I got a robocall from this number.   I need a couple things from you.  First, I need a validation letter sent through the US Postal Service  sent to the address you have on record with a return address so the Attorney General of my state and your state will know where to find you.
Scammer: CLICK! (as she hung up the phone)

Someone else posted on a different website that this company is based in NC, they place ads on Craigslist for collectos, skip tracers and call center operators. If you vist craigslist for Charlotte, NC as often as possible and flag any ads in these categories as prohibited. If enough people do it, the ad gets removed. You can also reply to the ad so that they reply with an email address phone number, which can then be used to overwhelm their communications, so that they are not able to respond to ad responses.

I am also, going to report them to the ATTY Gen office in NC, more complaints to them hopefully they will then get invistaged so please report them:)

These people also go by the names of:

Reynolds, HIll and Associates
Berkley and Associates
Kaufmann and Associates
Sanderson Blaine and Associates
McKenzie Reid and Associates
Kennedy, Kline and Associates

They called me and when I asked for details they hung up.  I ask for her name, address, name of company, etc.

They said they needed my daughter's information and gave me a court case docket #. I told them I wanted info and they said they could not discuss it with me only my daughter. I did not give them any info so now they are calling my other children trying to get info.

Did that make them stop calling you? That number is calling family members now trying to hunt me down

Someone called my mom asking her if she knew how to get ahold of me or where I was living. I tried calling the number and it was just a voicemail message. I have received these kind of calls before and you can almost always tell by how they talk that it is FAKE!!!!!

Also it just said that they were from Investigations. Investigations of what, from where???

they are fraud.

They called me several times a day, leaving messages saying: "This is an attempt to locate the following individual: <First Name, Last Name>....." (not me). I deleted the voicemail without further action but it's getting annoying now.

This is an automated voice thing asking to speak to a Waldry and they call me multiple times a day. They are pretending to be some sort of investigator and wont stop calling even though I am not the person they are looking for.

I got a call from the same number.  I called back and left a message stating the same things you said.  I don't think I'll be hearing from them again!  Thanks for the tip--I get these calls every now and then from different scammers; I'm going to use that same dialogue every time!

I received a robocall from this number; I called the number back and heard a voicemail saying "Investigations Unit".  But they didn't say where it was from.  I got scared at first, but then I remembered this website where you can look up numbers to see where they're from.  When I got here, I saw that there were other people who got calls from this number and realized it was another one of those scammers who pretend to call you about you owing money and try to scare you into "paying the debt" with a credit card.  I'm so glad this website exists!

I just received a message from the same number, looking for my husband. I think he'll be calling back and having a little fun with them. I feel a little bad for them....actually no, no I don't.

I got a call looking for my ex-husband of 16 years now.......Do not know who it is.  

Received a call from this number looking for someone, that I do not know.  First, how did they get my work number, and two, why are they associating that person to me?

I get this call wanting to know where bouts of my son it is a scam you call tell it is a robot call they give a case number and everything
