This sounds like a scam.  I got a call from someone who claims to be Dr. Hana.  (wouldn't tell me their last name).  I asked if they were selling something and she said that they were calling on behalf of Blue Cross/Blue Shield to tell me thank you for my membership and to ask if I needed help making dr appointments. I asked her what kind of doctor she was and commented that it was odd that a company would pay doctors to work in a call center.  She said she was a medical doctor.  I asked what her specialty was and she said she didn't know.  (ha!)  I asked her who was the company that paid her checks.  She said that she works for RSA Medical on behalf of Blue Cross.  The caller ID said TOLL FREE CALLER

My husband got a call from this number on his cell phone asking for me saying they were with Blue Cross Blue Shield. I called the number back and it comes up on my caller ID as suspected spam! Jerks!

Called thanking me for being a Blue Cross customer and wanted to discuss my policy, but first needed to verify my information. They had my phone number and address, but they were going for social I'm sure.  BEWARE!!

Total scam...trying to steal your BCBS information DO NOT RESPOND

I notified Blue Cross Blue Sheild regarding a phone call from 855-969-3379, They advised me not to ever share personal information over the phone and to contact BCBS directly for any questions.
