They called and hung up on me.  But, I called back from a different number and the guy with a foreign accent answered.  He wouldn't tell me what their company does, but identified them as EOSCCA.  I looked them up and they're debt collectors.

These people call never identifying who exactly they're looking for. I don't answer calls from these people phishing for information and or social security numbers. If they are looking for an old past debt from me it's not gonna happen. Anything I had was from bancruptcy 15 years ago and it's their tough luck if they bought any. I'll let them waste their resources.

Call them back! Keep calling til you get someone! Ask why they keep calling and tell them they will stop calling you!! That's exactly why I did and it worked! They don't mind calling you but get intimidated when you aggressively call them!! They no likely, want you go away!! Lol

This number called me and left no voicemail. I won't call back. But reading the comments, I don't think I'll be answering!

This number called me and I called them back and managed to speak to a representative. They are a debt collection agency. I told them my name and apparently the call wasn't for me and was a "Misdial."
They have called several times this month.

Do not answer the scam caller! The EOSCCA is a debt collection company that does their job as they should, the unknown caller is posing as the EOSCCA to ruin the company's reputation and steal your identity!

This phone number is always calling.  Leaves no messages and getting to be so annoying.  I am ready to report them to the Federal Trade Act.

I just got a call from 885-974-6089 and let it ring, no voicemail. Called it back and got hung up on. It's a scam! No professional company would repeatedly hang up on you.

Thanks for the info. I have already had numerous calls from collection agencies for the person who had my cell phone number previously. I had the same problem on my home phone too. I even went as far as looking up the woman on Facebook and telling her that debt collectors were harassing me.
I finally  told one agency to look me up in the phone book and they could see that my number did not belong to Jackie Whatshername. That did the trick, no more calls!

me too got missed call from this number. and i called back. i got connect with representative. the guy who name is Kevin ( with acent  in english) answered me. asked me : you have missed call or voice message? i said : missed call. he said : are u teresa? i said : no, i am not. then he said : sorry its wrong number. i will block that number for the future

This is a paypal number.

They've called 2x in the past 7 dayside left no voicemail. Since I've had my # for over 12 years now and I know I don't have anything in collections they can eat dick. I refuse to call any u identified company back who does not leave their name.

these people call almost everyday.  You can get an app that plays the funny beeps and says this number has been disconnected and hook any numbers you want to it.  I am doing that tomorrow.  I don't know why the phone company does not allow me to simply block phone numbers I do not want calling me.  Could these pond scum companies be giving the phone company that much revenue?

You shouldn't even answer or try to call and get them to stop. By picking up you have confirmed there is a person which is step one of the scam. Found that out yesterday by reading this:
