Why on earth would Magic Jack give out a number and not register it to a person/address? And should I be concerned and report it to the authorities?

- weirdSame thing for me, Indian accent, male, noise in background. Call came from Vineland, NJ. Asked for a random name that doesn't work in our office so I hung up. He called me back and called me a "bloody" something or other and then hung up. When you call number back it says MagicJack and number hasn't been assigned to anyone. They call often... getting very annoying!
- SysadminJust got a call from this number. Man with thick Indian accent asked for someone whose name I had never heard of, but he already knew my company name. When I asked if I could put him on hold so I could look this person up, when asked for his name and company, the following exchange took place:
Me: "Can I have your name and the company you work for, please?"
Him: "Derek of *unintelligible gibberish*"
Me: "Can you please spell your company name?"
Him: "*repeats unintelligible gibberish*"
Me: "I said to spell it, not repeat yourself."
Him: "Can you just transfer me to *another name*, please?"
This would be when I hung up. 10 minutes later, a call was received from the same number by my colleague.
Not sure what is going on here.- Caller: Vineland NJ
