Just got a call from this #.  Difficult to understand the accent, but said he was from Bank of somthing-or-other and was calling about the resume I posted online.  I've applied for a couple of jobs online recently, so was initially concerned I was abrupt with someone who might want to hire me.  Then the call got cut off. No loss, I'm sure.

I received a called from a woman who was difficult to understand.  I didn't understand her name but she said she was with Banker's Life in Mount Laurel, NJ.  She told me her Branch Manager saw my resume online and wanted me to come in to talk to them regarding sales positions they have available.  I told her I had not experience in sales, and being sick at the time, I told her I would look at their website and call back if interested.  I did look at the website but did not see any positions I would be qualified for so I didn't call back.

Just got the same call, from broken English-speaking Indian, for sales jobs at Banker's Life Insurance.  They likely troll internet jobs boards for posted resumes and call anyone in the area.  Not something I want to pursue, and leaves a bad first impression when you outsource the initial contact with a candidate.  Keep jobs in America!

Got same call, did not pick up. Message was left saying it was Jenny Scott but could not make out what company she was calling from.

Same call, didn't answer, recently re- posted resume, not interested in banking position

Got the same call from a woman after publishing resume this weekend. Difficult to understand voice mail message.That's why I googled the number and wound up here. Strange, huh...

I got the same phone call and encountered the same difficult to understand man/woman. I called the phone number back and left a message . I too lost the connection and I really don't know what this is about. I agree, it leaves an incredibly bad taste in your mouth when you are actively looking for work and it appears anyway, that the company you are interested in seems to be outsourcing jobs. Not exactly encouraging in these tough economic times.

Just had a call from this number and answered because it was a local area code (Southern New Jersey). I could barely understand the caller and then realized they were asking to speak to my daughter.  She also has been job hunting and has many resumes out but never applied to Banker's Life.  Has to be a troll and will block the number.

Got a call from this woman twice this month. Janice Card?? from Bankers Life and Casualty Co in Mt Laurel NJ. No number came up initially but did leave this # in voice mail....allthough hard to understand with her accent. Any time I call back it goes right to voicemail. Go Figure....smells like a scam to me.

keep getting calls from the broken english woman ever since i posted my resume on careerbuilder.com. the number that she called from was from Hoboken, but the number she wanted me to call was for Mt Laurel...scam!
