This company has called my brother again, threating him that he needs to pay 1200$ , but will settle for 730$ today.  She said her name was Samantha, but he could barely understand her.  

I had my brother call back to see if she would give the company name (The Clifton Group), but was very testy with him when he asked who the lawyer was handling the case, and what country she was in due to her heavy accent.

She told him that there are 14 lawyers in the "firm" but if you do a reverse look up on the number it comes back as a landline and is NOT associated with any business.  Further if you do a google search of "the Clifton Group of New Jersey"  you get information on investments and NON-profit groups.

This is such a scam, and he is very concerned of reprocussions.  Do Not Fear file a complaint with the FCC.

I got a call from this number as a Samantha harassing and threatening me to put on a jail. This is a scam they can't even provide the name of there company and provide a proof to me. They just like to harass people at work.

I received two calls from this number threatening me to call. I have no idea who they are. The name given was Nancy Walker. You could barely understand what she is saying

I recieved calls from this place at my job I've googled the info to see what it says and no law firm info is avail at that # I've even search law firms in Blackwood ,  New Jersey and still no Cliston or Clifston law firm in New Jersey so whats really going on?????????????????

They keep calling leaving messages that are threatening on my phone and they said that I owe them money. they told me I have court tomorrow but cant tell me the address I have called the police and they cant do anything. I am not gonna let these people get away with this.

I finally got them to admit to being a scam I called over and over again and harrassed them back

My husband gets a call from this number too, only it is Roger, from the legal department, saying if he doesn't pay 150 he is getting sued.  They have even called his place of employment (about 10 times a day) and actually threatend his boss, that if they didn't let this "Roger" person talk to my husband, he would send people to ohio to "come after him" and his boss.  They will not tell us what their business is called, they did however say they were from New Jersey, after my husbands boss began speaking in an indian accent, and telling the person he would send the employees to new jersey to come after the guy who threatend.  Its very annoying, but kinda funny at the same time.

There is this guy named "Roger" that called my uncle's boss and then called my uncle and told my uncle that he needed to pay $714.00 by Friday or he was gonna send his officers after him and arrest him and that my uncle was not gonna have any kind of life not even a family life. Roger said it was a debt he was collecting and that he was with the LLC law firm group out of New Jersey and it was the Clifton Group. Roger had an Indian accent and you could not hardly understand him, and Roger was very aggressive with my uncle. This Roger guy has my uncle very upset and scared. This Roger guy has my uncle's boss very upset and mad. Somebody needs to put a stop to all this scamming phone calls A.S.A.P. It is very annoying and frustrating to everyone that gets calls like this. I am going to file a complaint with the FCC about this matter.

How do I get a hold of the FCC so my uncle can file a complaint?
