Caller asked to talk to someone about MedEd power company
Answer was, we do not have them
caller hung up
why is someone from Ma. calling Pa, asking this?

The call came up as unknown name. The caller said he was calling  from Sperian Energy and that they were an energy supplier. The caller repeatedly argued with me when I asked them to remove my number from their list. He had an aggressive  and seemingly impatient tone. He only cooperated after I asked them why they were calling me when I was on the do-not-call list and he responded with an attitude that I perceived  to be hostile. Given this experience, I would not value this as a trustworthy company. Legitimate professionals generally do not choose to behave in this manner.

After receiving several calls from this number, I finally picked up to tell them to stop calling me.  The man never ID'd himself, but argued aggressively with me and states that I should listen to him because my electric bills or energy bills were going to go up dramatically and should hear him.  He was very aggressive bordering hostile.  I told him to stop calling me three times and had to speak over him and finally hung up on him.  Why is this 'harassment' crap legal?

Calls constantly and NEVER speak.  Just getting the call counts up. I reported them

Several times everyday and some evenings my cell phone rings-no one is on other end.The number calling me is 857-232-5976 Mass. When I call that number I get a message that I must text them. I have texts blocked on my cell phone because I have been charged when companies text me. Whoever is calling me does not identify themselves even when I call the number. I want to block these annoying calls.

This number calls me constantly several times a day. Will not leave a message and I am going to report it/them to the better business bureau or the State Inspector General's Office for harassment.

It started out as one call a day. Now I get several calls daily. I got two today at 11:30 both times, just got another call 3 minutes ago. I answered because I was finally able to and there was no one on the other end. Almost immediately the phone hangs up. I actually waited for the other end to say something first. Seems as soon as you say something the line goes dead. I also got the message about the number being a text only number and to text the person if I wanted to converse with them. Never heard of a text only phone, but whatever. Scammers are scammers. Never got in touch with anyone, won't text the number because I feel that's not smart to do. I'm going to call the phone company and see what can be done about it. It's becoming harassment and I am also on the DNC list.

I've received approx. thirty calls from this number over the past two weeks, now it's up to several per day.  Most act like hangups when I answer.  I answered once. The caller was rude and offensive, claimed to be from Met Ed.and I asked to be taken off their list.    Is there an effective way to complain?

I've had at least five calls a day from this number for the last two weeks.  Never anyone there when I answer.  Incredibly disruptive.  

I made an entry a few hours ago. I've had a total of 5 calls today ( so far ). I just got a call a minute ago and decided to answer but not say a word. The call ended after 4 seconds. No noise or anything. It's almost like they can't figure out why their scammy system isn't working, like they try to keep sending the message but there's never anything to send because they don't understand how to set their recording up. Just a thought. Anyway, I live in PA as well. Haven't talked to anyone or heard a voice yet. Still looking into calling the phone company to get it blocked for harassment.

when first redial the telephone I recieved a message chain it was a text only number, i resialedthe phone number and they answered. Insurance plan scam, told you stop calling or "I will call you none stop for the next week, I love being excessive compulsive!" I heard gasp in her voice and she hung up? I not OCD but could be if I had too! Ha!  Ha! One for us do the same and maybe will stop them!

These clowns call all the time and do not understand what do not call means.  Any more as soon as I hear the word electric I hang up on them.  They never ID themselves.

i1/16/2015    I have received at least four calls from someone who has called selling something or other about Met Ed from phone number 857-232-5976.   I have asked the salesperson not to call but the calls keep coming.  The sales person has refused to stop calling my cell phone.  Very rude and aggressive.   Can the calls be stopped?  Please email an answer to me at tannsgram@yahoo.com.  My cell number is 610-653-5775
