Got call from this number they called my mom then me and said I was under investigation left this on my machine and said good luck.

THIS IS A COLLECTION AGENCY..AND THEY USE FORCE TO TRY TO COLLECT DEBST THAT ARE OVER FIVE YEARS OLD..... THE GUY'S NAME IS RONNIE JOHNSON FROM CLAY ELLIS & ASSOCIATES.. CALLED MY JOB AND WAS VERY HARASSING.

How do I  stop this man from clay ellis and associates calling me and my family,he is saying I used my father in law as a refrence which is a lie,so what I do?

Ask him for his business license number or his address tell him you already reported him to the better bussines bureau and his number and name has been reported he will leave you alone.

This guy keep calling me and I did check him out, he is a start up collection agency and there is an attorney working there with a valid bar #. I believe he is legit and contacted the BBB and he has an application with them. I paid him and he sent me a letter. I do have an attorney in my family, and he is legit.

recieved a phone call from this # from clay ellis and associates about a debt that I thought ws paid. Come to find out that it was not pd and found a claim in the county court house. They were beginning to garnish my wages for this. i had to borrow the $$$ to pay so they would not garnish. This is not a scam. I am  witness.

I'm not falling for it he is not professional hes calling from a cell phone he answers all time of night asked for a address he told me his office out of new York or I mean corporate office okay ur business that big where's ur secretary ur pick up right away. He rude and he left a social security number on my answer machine something I don't even know about its a scam he. Must use to work at a firm or something. I ant paying [***]. And its far more reports Google it ..people please beware don't. Let this man swindle money from everybody work hard for there money so Ronnie Johnson should too.

So Nita, you do owe the $$$? So how is it a scam if you owe? I hope everyone is smart and get an attorney advice about contracts. I did. I thought the same as Nita, until I found out further. These posts are not from true attorney advice, look at how Nita spells and you want to take advice from her? My uncle which is an attorney, looked over the paperwork and it was something I needed to pay to keep my job. These people are FOR REAL! They have 2 offices 1 in LaJolla,Ca and also in NY. My uncle checked this out. I trust him!!!!!

Look @ this link: members.calbar.ca.gov ...This is every lawyer in the state of CA...you have to get the attorney's name. I did not check it my uncle did. Angie what are they doing now? Are they still calling? This is what happened to me, once they stopped, My job got served.

This dumb ass is unprofessional and threatening.  He won't give William Clay's Bar # and when I did a search for William Clay in the CA bar website the only two by that name were deceased.  I'm going to contact the city of La Jolla and ask if this company Clay Ellis and Associates even has a business license there and if not I'm going to file a complaint and/or contact the police so they can find out who this is.  F*ck them!

OOPPS, my bad, there is an attorney by the name of William J. Clay. He is a part of another law office. I'm still not paying sh*t, and still Fu*k him!

jhodges...HEY IDIOT i just went on the consumer affairs web-site type in clay ellis associates for there license number and it came up not found in new york...so that means your nothing but a low life lying sleazy debt collector who isnt making any money...RIGHT IDIOT...

I called him and asked for his information to provide to my attorney and he hung up on me.  I called back and he simply answered "hello" and I asked why he hung up and that I need the information, he hung up again.  This is definitely not legit.
