Getting phone calls from this number but they never leave a message

These guys call me pretty much every day, although I am on the do not call list. But you can give them hell by calling them back at 949 777 6616. Here they are. http:29listing.com They call themselves local 29. A week ago I was actually able to speak to a supervisor at that number and he openly admitted to the automated calling. Reverse lookup app on my android says it is Google. I doubt Google is trying to contact me. I spoke to local 29 before. I'm sure its the same place. I think they try to sell you placement in Google for customers searching for companies like yours in the area. I've declined 3 times. Thanks for the call back number. I will definitely call.

Yes, it's a robo call from Google. If you answer like I did once, they try to sell you placement in the search directories.

I have finally found out who they are, and where they are. They have called maybe 100 times, sometimes a few minutes apart, a couple times a day I intend to sue them.
I have spoken to them several times and asked them to stop calling, and am on the do not call list.

Yup, they're pieces of human garbage that can be reached at 949-777-6616.  It's a company called 29 Prime.  The rep I spoke with admitted that they were placing automating calls to my cell phone and agreed to remove my phone number from their list.

File a Complaint about them!!! You can go online and download form 1088B and fax it to the FCC.
Do it every single time they call, and call them at the 949-777-6616 number and COMPLAIN!!! TIE up their phone lines!

Ok, this number has called my office 9 times in a row. No one is there! I called the number someone else had listed and spoke with a person and informed her that I NEEDED my number deleted from their system and she told me there is a DO NOT CALL "tab" at the very bottom of their web site (also provided) and sure enough, it was there and I have registered both my office numbers and had her remove them as well!

This is the same Google solicitation that also calls me from 2 or 3 other numbers. They call daily - sometimes several times per day. If you answer, it's a recording asking you to press "1" to update your listing. If you press "1" and start asking questions, they hang up on you and keep calling every day. This is harassment, and it's the most unethical, rude and unprofessional marketing tactic I've ever witnessed!

I get calls two or three times a day. They don't leave a message, and when I answer they hang up after about 5 to 10 seconds. Looks like they're getting paid by the number of calls they place. I'm a little tentative about going to the website some have posted. I don't want anything for them infesting my computer.

The company is Big Fish SEM, a search engine marketing firm. They auto-call with a message that sounds like it is from Google, and it asks you to press "1". I did this just out of curiosity, which is how I got the company name. I found them on Google. The guy taking the call was only too happy to give me much more information about them than I gave them about me. On the website they have a spot where you can enter your number on a "Do Not Call" list. Since they were calling me several times a month, I didn't see any harm in putting myself on the list--it couldn't get worse. The pitch is designed to get you to buy search engine optimization, i.e. to get yourself on the first page of a Google search. I also talked with the guy for a long time, advising him that he needed to change our corporate phone number, which he did, and I gave him the number for the state mental institution. I also gave him a phony name for me, saying that the guy he was trying to call had left the company. I created a fictitious business name, told him that I was in the business of manufacturing and selling toys for small animals, and he bought the whole thing. I gave him a false address, that of a local tavern here in Fort Worth TX. All of this was a lot of fun, and although they may call me again, I'm happy as a retired person to waste their time and see how outrageous my questions and goofy information can get. I have used this tactic on several of the telemarketers with Florida and California numbers, some of whom are based outside the USA, and all I can tell you is that they stop calling me. It is important to get them to change your contact number in their data base! Then go to their website and get on the "do not call" list with the number they used to call you in the first place.

Ok, so let's keep notifying Google that these slags are scamming and using their name. I' m pretty sure it's going to be self with eventually.

Yes, put my number on their Do not call list and haven't received another call.  Wish every other telemarketers was as easy to stop
