"Obama Home Help" is on the caller ID for this #.  They call and hang up.  I have blocked them.

Just got a call from this number, no message left.  It's a cell phone number in Hartford, CT

This is an official sounding taped message trying to refinance a mortgage

Quit calling. I am reporting this number and the company to the attorney gen of CA & FL along with the FCC. In addition I am sending a message to the White House - nothing like using the name of the President for illegal activities - maybe Fannie May or Freddie Mac can help this organization with all the tax dollars they were given by Obama. "Obama Home Help".

It was a refinancing solicitation call. It asks u to press 5 for more info....all peeps are busy helping others....leave a name and number. It's telemarketing at it's lowest.

Just called.  Didn't answer.  I stopped picking up calls from numbers I don't recognize.

I just got a call from this number. I didn't pick up due to the unfamiliar, and oddly prefixed number. Since there's no way that there would be any legitimate service called "Obama Home Help", it's certainly a scam, the type that the FBI is supposedly cracking down on.

this number just called. They have called a couple times lately. No message, so I called back and it did not have any info on what they are but gave me the option to have me placed on there do not contact list. We will see if it works...

Scammer calling about refinancing a non existent mortgage.

These guys are crooks. The call itself is illegal since I'm on the Do Not Call List. It's also illegal to telemarket with pre-recorded messages. They mistook my answering machine for a live human and gave this pre-recorded spiel about a 4 percent refinancing offer.

Please don't reward these crooks by doing business with them.

Just got a call from this number, I didn't pick up and they didn't leave a message.

no one is on the line when you answer on one call....the second time within 45 mins there was someone there but would not talk...you could hear them breathing.... just a bunch of people who dont know what a real job is and think they called you and as long as you answered they tell their boss your not interested or they lied and charged the credit card.... two months later your finding bills for this unknown co on there.

I have a home in foreclosure.  I am also an attorney.  I got a call from this number today, did not answer.  Will be reporting it to our attorney general here in California.  I hope they fry in hell.

Scammers called using ID of: OBAMA HOME HELP, sure bet! There have only been a small percentage of people helped by this administration that has only served to HELP THE VERY RICH, and help the BILLIONAIR BANKSTERS, oh, and GM, and AIG, et al.  WHY do we put up with this crapola? OBAMA OUT! and who the hell knows who we will get next to be bought out, too?! Soon, our dollar will be worthless, anyway, and only Au and Ag etc will have any value.  Even real estate is now devalued by the banking system because they are making so very few loans, and that only pushed the prices downward, hence, DEVALUATION of houses.  WHAT A RACKET!!!

Obama Home Help. Raised my hopes and my suspicions radar at the same. Happy to have this list that let's me know it is a scammer.  Somehow I felt that.

Recorded message about refinancing my home.  Pressed 3 to opt out, but they called back several hours later.  I am about ready to shut off my home phone, but T-Mobile's service (my cell carrier) doesn't work well at my house and I miss more than half the calls, so I am stuck with it for now.  Hopefully T-Mobile will improve when AT&T takes over, LOL.

Would unplugging your base on a home/roam phone for a few days, work?  Just thinking, if it's a robo call they might eventually give up, (if you're willing to be without a home phone for a few days).  I tried unplugging my phone when I saw the number on caller i.d.  the next night they called 1 hour 20 minutes earlier.
