Called several times, no message left, no, I did not answer

I received 3 or 4 calls from Google gmail team telling me my email (they knew it) was sending spam emails.  I got this number and 000-000-0000 and 2 others.  I called the number back and it is out of service. I changed my password (for the 3rd time) to be safe.  The guy tried telling me that they needed to check my router IP address. BS!!  They were going to try and remote into my computer and run a scan on it to check for the IP addresses accessing my email.  Hey idiot caller - give me yours!  I've been in IT for a long time and know better.  I feel sorry for those who fall for this crap.

got a call from this number saying I got a 14.566 dollar grant from the govt. when I said scam he threatened me saying the irs would sue me. Wanted $353.00 for Identification verification told him no and hung up.

Keeps calling my cell phone, and not leaving messages.

Whoever this is, they called, I didn't see it, so I called back, they answered and didn't say ANYTHING! But I could hear people in the background. Screw these idiots!

Got a message saying they were from Bankers Life and had seen my resume on Monster, which I do have one posted. But told me to call them back at a different number than the one that had called. So who knows.

Number kept calling as I do not know anyone in NJ I didn't answer,  They kept calling so I answered to shut them up.  A live person said they were from "Microsoft Windows" and my computer was sending messages of problems. I knew it was a scam as the phone number they called was my work cell and I have zero personal contact info relating to the number.  I had a few minutes so I played along and they kept saying Windows was sending issue notices and they would fix it for me.  After several minutes I told them my computer is a Mac.  They said, OK, yes.  Let me help you with the issues your Mac is having. Then I said, no I'm sorry it's a Windows computer.  They said, yes that makes sense because we are getting notices of Windows issues.  They then asked me to look at my key board and to describe the button on the bottom row next to the Control key.  I then said, I have a Mac machine why is Windows calling me?  They insisted that I tell them what was on that button.  I told them if my computer was sending them notifications they should know if it's Windows or not.  Next I said, if you are going to try and scam me get your stories right.  They hung up, I smiled.

Got a call no one at other end? Most likely spam..sick of this I'm on do not call list it sure in the hell doesn't work.

I guy (Indian accent) called me today saying he's from Microsoft partner . Wanted to log into my computer to delete virus . I asked him to send me a details so I can remove by myself . He said only him to remove it . It is a scam since he hung up on me (Number is 862-231-2551 (from New Jersey ?)

I was offered a vacation package worth over $3,000, but of course I would have to give them my credit card number and promise about $1,000.  Looked up the number while he was talking.  Thanks for posting.
