They called at 530pm. I didnt answer but they left a message asking for my ex boyfriend and left a new number with an ext. saying to ask for ms. Brown. I know he doesnt know anyone or would deal with any businesses in SC so im not sure how they would have gotten his name or linked MY phone number up with him considering I havent talked to him in about 4 months.

White American Male called saying that he is from Ford Motor Credit and has been trying to reach a neighbor of mine - Jim Parker.  Caller wanted me to give "Jim Parker" a his phone number. Also, asked if Jim drives a Lincoln Towncar and if I see it parked outside.

Ford Motor Credit calling and asking for employment verification for an employee.  She was rude and demanded to speak with Human Resources.  She was advised that company policy does not allow collection calls at the work place and not to call.  She has called twice.

They will lie to you, give you false numbers to Ford to call, and steal any thisgs that you have left in your vehicle. They are liars and are dishonest people, that prey on people with some bad luck.

I been receiving calls all day from this number.  I do not own a car through Ford Motor Credit but I beleive what I am reading is correct with harrassing a neighbor etc to reach someone that is late on their car.

I don't answer because I don't even have a Ford. Don't think it really is the Ford company anyway. Just turn off my machine, and the ringer on the phone and let 'em waste their own time!

Keep calling and do not leave a message. When I did answer they asked if I wanted to receive an offer for a low APR credit card. Knew it was a scam. Started blocking the calls

This is Ford Credit.  Our Ford was involved in an accident over a week ago, and the towing company that is in possession of the vehicle is required to send a notice to the lien holder (Ford Credit in this case) informing them that they are in possession of the vehicle.  I answered the call and it was a very pleasant representative from Ford Credit confirming that the vehicle was in an accident, and left a number for us to call them and inform them when the vehicle gets moved off of the towing lot.  I was not asked to give any account information or any personal information (she actually gave my account information to me), so it is legit Ford Credit.  As for the other people commenting that they were called about their neighbor's cars, or that do not have a Ford... well, I can't comment on those, but if you own a Ford, this really is Ford Credit.

This phone number has been calling me relentlessly EVERY DAY between 8:00 & 8:30 am for over TWO MOS!! 🤦‍♂️It is SOOO rude to call before 9am (ESPECIALLY if you are a Telemarketer or debt collector....I mean Geesh!- but I digress. I was reading the other posts on here, and I DO have a loan with Ford Credit, but since I quit anwswering these "Portfolio Recovery Assoc" calls, they still won't stop ✋ calling. I just called the number back before writing this post, and that's who the person that had me on hold said they were: Portfolio Recovery Associates....Who knows? Best of luck 🤞🍀 to everyone. I applied for  auto as a co applicant for joint and I had a consumer alert on my credit report they were calling to verify my identity and I put an application in.
