Always calls asking for a Mr.______ Bailey, it does not matter how many times you tell them they have the wrong number they still call, but, whatelse would you expect from uneducated people.

Debt collections.  Left voice mail on the cellphone that I activated just a few days ago.  Apparently, the previous holder of my new phone number had money problems.  Having dealt with other peoples' debt collection calls before, I am NOT looking forward to trying to convince these cretins that I am not the person they are looking for; it almost always turns ugly, since they always assume that you're their mark trying to get off the hook, and they usually operate from offshore, circumventing US laws regarding harassment and deception in their calls.

Called and never said anything. I don't owe any medical bills and I've had my number for years. I hate stupid calls like these!

calls frequently.  wont tell me anything but the guys name is Bill Cobb.  No more info.  Now I see the number on the caller ID and I let them listen to the radio or the TV for a little while (whichever one is on).  They wasted my time so they can waste their time listening to the radio each time saying hello. hello.....lol.  IDIOTS!

Data Track calling for someone. Different person each time leaving message for someone other than me. They are now on the 'blacklist' so my phone doesn't even alert me they called! lol idiots.

Contact the local Better Buisness Beru,I think VB in SC is right, they are a collection company and are rude and disrespectful.Let the BBB know that they refused to speak with you like a person but like trash.
After several complaints companies will quit using them for collections and they will loose more money than they are collecting.
They began calling me,I am on the DO NOT CALL list and requested them NOT to call,didnt work so i went to the BBB and stated I think they are either a collection company or a telemarketer,I didnt know because they refused to give me any information,so I sent the BBB the DATATRACK RECEIVEABLE mailing info that VB put up here.,I only owe 1 bill of $40 and will get around to payin it,but i refuse to pay a collection company,I will rather pay the doctor.The doctors will take the money,and Datatrack will loose that money,lmao they r a bunch of dumbazz's.

Its funny I am reading everyones messages and you think because you dont pay your bill even if its only $40 guess what that $40 bill will hurt you for 7 years A LOT more than you think. Also just because you dont send your money directly to the collection agency NEWS FLASH they still billed and called you so they still get your money from whomever you owe!

They are not foreign and they do not come to your home, I have a relative that works there and they operate from inside the business only. If you didn't want them calling your pastor maybe you shouldn't have put him down as a reference on your default loan or bill! Think about paying debt before you fuss about it!

You just need to first make sure to document everything. All these people rely on one thing, and that is that you will be to ashamed of the circumstance you're in to fight the abuse.
So document everything as said before that they did and when.
If you do research you will find that these companies especially this one might have very well broken the laws to which they must abide.
It is against the federal collection laws to call anyone else but you about the debt. They can only call neighbors and relatives to verify your address and employment ONLY. They are not allowed to talk to anyone about your debt but you. If you document any calls they may make to anyone but you that are a violation then you can use that in a court of law to sue them.
If they are calling people frequently you could make a case that it is blatant harassment.

You also don't have to let them call you at all. Yes I said DON'T LET THEM CALL as they don't have the right to call you if you don't want to talk to them. They are no different than any other person or company.
You actually have that right to not talk to the person to which you really owe as well. You just tell them that you don't wish to talk about the matter. Then they can only contact you if they are trying to take you to court at that point.

Just tell them not to call and if they do call back file harassment charges against them.
They will most likely comply unless they are stupid enough to risk loosing their phone services.

Just keep in mind that times are tough and many people are hitting it hard it does not mean you are a bad person it just means you are in a bad situation that you most likely had no control over.

I currently work for this company. Bottom line is, pay your bills and we will not have to call you.

You've already had the customer service provided to you from whoever it is you owe...so now that you're dealing with us we will give you whatever attitude you bring us.

We will not give anyone your information unless we get permission from you.

If you want to file harassment charges let your attorney know that you're getting calls because you don't want to pay a bill you legitimately owe, that will let them know that you may not pay them for representing you.

I just bought a prepaid cell phone a week ago.  Because it is prepaid I have limited minutes (the pay per day plan, if you make or receive a phone call).  This phone is for emergencies.  Yet I have these people calling me.  I didn't even know who it was.  The only people I have even given the number to is my husband and my children.  So I called the number back (why not cause they already forced me to pay for the day's usage).  They were calling for some woman named Tricia.  I told them that I just bought a prepaid number and that my name was Blah Blah and that I didn't even know this person they were calling.  They said "Well how do we know she released her number and you aren't really her?"  HELLO LADY???  Cause I called and told you.  If I were the woman in which they were trying to collect a debt from, do you honestly think I would call?  Again I explained to her that this was a prepaid number and each time they called I was being charged and told her not to call back again and hung up.

In my case I am most definitely not the person you are trying to reach.  I bought a prepaid phone a week ago.  If you know anything about prepaid phone services, they recycle the numbers constantly.  When you call me, it charges me for that days service.  So the way I see it, your company OWES me $4.  So if you are a debt collection agency, then I suppose you can pay your debts too.  I do have reason to sue you and if I continue to receive these calls I will.  It is harassment and costing me money each time you do it, for a debt account that isn't even me.  So before you start harassing someone, verify that the number hasn't been recycled and given to someone else.  It is pretty easy to do.  Just do a search on the number.  Don't waste my time or yours...and risk lawsuit.
