- Sam WoodfieldIndian-accent scam artist
- darshComputer scam artist
- anonymousCaller ID said "international number". Said he was from Windows supports and that my computer had been
downloading "edits" for days and he needed to fix it. Said to go to my computer so he could fix it. I laughed and said I
had an Apple computer and he was a phony. He recited my first name and some numbers he said was my
serial number. Told him again I didn't have a microsoft based computer and that I was on the no call list and not to call me
again. He politely said he must have called the wrong person and said goodby.
Indian accent, professional sounding, and persistent. I already knew about this scam but someone who didn't and not
very wise might fall for this call. - Jane in AtlantaScam artist. Says he is from Microsoft and problem with computer. Indian accent. Kept asking them for their phone number so I could call them back and of course, they would not give me a number.
- Caller: None- caller ID said International
- Call type: Prank
- CH| 1 replySaid they were Windows Support and hangup. Added this number to my blocked list. Hopefully no harm was done in answering this call.
- FBCall identified as Internation_LD. Man with Indian accent asked for my wife by name but couldn't pronounce it. I asked him who he was and he told me that he was from the Windows Technical Support and that he needed to help fix my computer. I told him that I knew the crime that he perpetrates and I'm not falling for it. He responded with an ear full of swear words about my wife and my mother and hung up. I called the number back and it was a recording that identified itself as BTI, said it was a do not call list. I hung up and reported the call to donotcall.gov.
- Caller: Internation_LD/BTI
- RicardoScam artist who said that he was monitoring errors on my computer.
He had such a thick asian Indian accent that I could not understand him at first.
I recognized that he was scamming me because the only way he could connect a phone number was through a craigslist add that I have been running. I alternate use several computers at work, home, libraries and a relatives home and none are associated with the cell phone on which he called me.
I hung up on him before he asked me for the $300 which I have heard is the asking price for this scam. - I hate pathetic phone scamsHeads up!..... don't contact this John clown that posted 5 minutes before me. ( 714-266-1833 email: newspapers@squad.cc)
