Shrine Svc Call, 8652461300 on 11/12 3:04 pm. Keep calling. Ask for money. Want off list.

Called but did not leave a voice mail.

From what I have learned, its part of a SCAM.

First you get a phone call from the number 972 496 8700 claiming to need info about your neighbors, or someone who never lived there. Its a scam to steal your  information or id,and then the Next day, someone claiming to be from the Shriners calls.

 I wasn't a believer until it happened to me. Yesterday someone from 972 called  me and then at the same time, day later a "Shriner" called asking for money.

 Dont answer or hang up on these scum. Warn your family and friends.

Got a call from this number. Did not answer it. I never answer unless I know who it is. And I was not going to give to Shriners so I never answered. Wish they would take me off the list. I'm afraid of being woke up for nothing.

On the first call, a very nice lady claming herself calling from Shrine Circus asked for donation to help out under privilaged kids so they can enjoy circus and I agreed. Then someone sounds quite young called back from this number to confirm our pleadge.  At that time, I asked for a receipt from them so we can use it for a tax purpose.  She really turned abusive (orally, of course) then and telling me such as "what does a $20 receipt help with your tax?" or "You are not a very charitable person." etc.  What are they to accuse me of such things really?  I'm not sure if they are affiliated with Shriners at all.

Got a call from this number but missed it.  Called back but does not ring and then sounds busy.  They called my home number as well.

They get our FAX...hahahaha

Received a call today from 865-246-1300, they got my fax machine as do all telemarakers. We only use this for faxes. Caller ID: Knoxville, TN.

Received call from 865-246-1300, Joanna on behalf of Shriners.  Asked her to remove my number from their list.  Caller ID:  Out of area

Number on ID was Bristol Motor S 865-246-1300.  How and why are all these companies allowed to set a fake name for their caller id's...

It looks like the user has changed their ID.CAll received 5.23.2011.
