This company calls me a few times a day and never leaves a message.  I don't answer calls from people I don't know.  It is very annoying.  They just started calling me a couple of days ago.

Keeps calling and hangs up.  First time it rang once, second time twice.  Third time I will let you know. . .JERKS

How do we end the calls?

these people call day and night, last night they called at 8:30pm and they start as early as 7am.!!

This number calls my cell every night at 8:50 pm. Rarely does it leave a message. If you try to call it back, it's an invalid number.

They just called me for the millionth time. I'm so sick of it!!

They kept calling me, so I finally answered just for kicks - it went into a menu and was something about debt collection - I have no debt so I got concerned and hung up.

I then called the number from my land line and after selecting that I wanted to proceed in English, and that I was returning a call, I got a very nice lady and I explained my situatio to her.  She asked what number they were calling, I gave her my cell # and she asked if it belonged to and gave a name, I said no and she said that was who they were trying to reach and would remove the number as contact for that person.  

So far no more calls.

Recieved several calls a week. Wrong name. Tried a follow up and They ask for ssn. Extremely annoying.

Debt Collector. Possibly a scavenger debt collector( one who has purchased a debt for pennies on the dollar from some one else) They hope to get, intimidate or threaten harm to collect an alleged debt. They may even call hoping to get your child to answer and threaten " We'll put Mommy in Jail if she doesn't ____________." That's why the calls are after 3pm to 5 pm. when parents aren't home from work yet.  Those activities are against the FEDERAL LAW. It's " The Fair Debt Collections Act". The debt likely is NOT your debt. They are looking for ANY and EVERYONE with your same or similar name. If you just pay them to keep them off your back then that refreshes the debt and IT BECOMES YOURS> !!!!! FOREVER!!!!! In every State their is a Statute of Limitations which pertains to how long after a debt that they can collect or sue over it. IF it goes to court -you must show up- else they will win (even if it's not your debt). If you show up 99% of the time the case is dismissed because it's past the Statute of Limitations or they can not show proof of the debt. Go to Fed Gov websites for help, sample "drop dead letters" and "Clark Howard"s website. He's also on CNN weekends.

This number calls us every day and never leaves a message. I usually don't answer but when I do, they don't answer. What is going on?

This number shows up on my home phone at least twice a day! When I answer it, the automated recording puts me on hold.    That is some nerve to call a persons home and place them on hold!!!!
