The number of calls I've been getting from 866-201-7407 were unbelievable. I finally called their number, got an automated message claiming to be Southwest Credit Systems and that their offices were closed (in the early afternoon on a weekday.) I proceeded to leave them a message. I requested an explaination as to what these calls were regarding and to leave me a message on my answering machine with the information.

I never got a response back from Southwest Credit Systems. The daily calls just stopped. And it's been nearly a week now with NO calls coming from them!!

For the fun of it, I called their number again, this time in the morning, and I get the same recording that their offices are closed.... I left another message asking for an explanation for the calls that I recieved in the past; I never recieved a return call from these joker's!

SOUTHWEST CREDIT SYSTEMS IS A FLATOUT SCAM!

They're just another one of the numerous flies in the ointment infecting the phone lines!

If this # is from Southwest Credit Systems it is the bill collection department of MaBell (aka AT&T, Southwest Bell, etc.) They try to make is seem like a separate company but it is the phone company looking for your $$$.

This number continuously and almost daily calls me, although I never answer.  Never a message, and I don't know why whomever calls my number; how did they get my number.  I am on the no call list, yet I seemingly continue to get these bogus and scam calls.  I want this to stop immediately!!!!V

This number is constantly calling my cell phone eventhough my number is in the do not call list i still keep receiving calls from these unknown companys I have no idea who they are and i dont really care I just want them to stop calling!!

Got a call from these people,Southwest Credit Systems,and they said I had an oustanding debt with ATT.I told them I was currently with ATT and if I owed them they should bill me.I told her I was current and owed nothing.She said they would persist with calls.I called ATT and they also said I was current and owed nothing.They couldn't understand why I am getting the calls.Southwest credit systems must be a scam job...

I have received several calls from 866-201-7407 and 818-649-5360 both never leave a message and hang up when I answer. They both have a recorded message from a Southwest Credit Systems. The name on the caller ID says Financial  Center.

Anonymous warning what does your statement have to do with this number. I think you have bigger problems than unwanted phone calls.  Get some help lady!!!! You need it. Everyone else thanks for the info.

I have been receiving calls from this number off and on for a couple of months.
They never leave a message.
I do do not have any past debt with AT&T, I currently use their Prepaid Cellfon service,
but owe nothing..

I have not had any other type of service for my Cellfon in 7 years.
I had Vonage before that for 3 years, so have no idea where they get off calling me.

But I did get a call 1 time from a credit collection company regarding a Jewelry store purchase
but my name and my brother's SSN. But it had been 24 years since I had made a purchase from that company, and it was paid in full.

EVERYBODY REMEMBER the "No Call List" ONLY has to do with companies that you have not had business with in the past. If you are being called by a Debt Collector, then they either represent the Company you did business with OR they now Own the Debt, and thus is the same as you did business with them, so the "No Call List" does not apply to them..

These [***] called me this morning. I don't owe any money. why did they called me for.

some phone company calling saying i have debt i live in fl we don't even have at&t down here (except for cell service)! then they change there tune and call back saying they are t-mobile... sorry but my family has been with verizon for all phone services since before i was born so sorry for your inconvenience of inconveniencing me.

This number calls me every few weeks and when I answer, I usually hear a "Hello" very calmly spoken, then they (it?) hang up. Today it called again, I answered and heard a woman's voice go "Hello", then silence, then I say "Hello?" and they hang up. I never call that number back because I heard that it was a trick to get you to call them so they have some sort of info of yours or whatever...but nonetheless I don't call the number back.

Call me once a week and never leave a message. If they are ATT affiliated, they shpuld know I have no outstanding bill otherwise the nber they're calling wpuld be put of service. Been with ATT for 4 years and my bill is paid automatically each month. I have to assume they are a collector using dated information to collect debts from the previous owner of this number.

They just called again. it is after 10pm, it is against the state law for them to call at this time.

From reading all the responses and especially your's "Jess", it would appear that they have somehow aquired AT&T Accounts information, and are seeing what they can do to get our money..

If u are getting a call re: a past due phone bill, check your credit report. Landline phone companies don't cut off your dialtone if u owe a past due charge for non-basic services (long distance).  This is to allow u access to 911. Doesn't mean there's not something owed. Once its sold to collections, the original phone company can't access the records Amy more.

Noted as a Debt Collector.  Calls every few days, never leaves a message.  

FYI, WE KNOW WHO YOU ARE AND WON'T ANSWER IF YOU DON'T LEAVE A MESSAGE!

We have had this number  for 2 days and it is not with ATT.  This number is getting to be as bad as the last one ,  I put each call on block which is *60. I think the DNC is license to harass.  Not putting this number on Do Not Call list.
