Called at 9:51AM, didn't leave a message.  Probably scam, phishing, identity theft, nigeria, florida, nevada, thieves, scam artists, collection, fraud.

Called, left message stating it was from "Patient Financial Services" wanting to discuss a "personal business matter."

Patient Financial Services re: hospital / doc bill.

Says they are with a hospital - refuses to send correspondence by mail and they demand your checking account number and ATM pin number to "set up account for their records." Obviously a scam.

This is a Patient Financial Services number to set up payments for past hospital bills. I have to call this number once a month to make payments. It's legit.

Sorry to tell you but it is a scam....the hospital bills you, your just paying them for doing nothing.

They still stick these people on you. They don't care if you mark, "Paid In Full," on your final check to them - they still have some jerk named, 'Tyrone,' or something call your house and harass you.

This person is correct.  It is PFS to pay YOUR hospital bills.

Unfortunately, it's a legitimate debt collector, calling about local hospital bills. If anything, the hospital is who you should be angry with.

Also, in response to the "no correspondence by mail" claim, they've actually been very transparent and prompt with me through email. They sent me my bill before forcing me to make a payment.

I called them back and asked the company name and what this was pertaining to and Felicia immediately got rude with me. Demanding I give her my name. I don't give out my information because I have had identity theft. When I told her this she bacame even more rude and said well don't you have a name and her name is Felicia. At this point her attitude irritated me and I told her I didn't care what her name was I simply need to know the matter of the call before I would answer anything for her. She asked me if I had been in the hospital recently and I have NOT!  She said well we called the wrong person and hung up. If you are legit then tell me what you are calling about.
