phone number 866-226-1906 is making harrasing and pornographic calls repeatedly to my number. can you make it stop???

Calls 2-3 times daily.  No one on other end when I pick up.  I re-dialed the number, it rings and rings, then an operator comes on and says "your call cannot be completed at this time."

checked on another website-they comment that its DNB (Dunns & Bradstreet?)-calls 3 to 4 times a day.

Calls every day, no one on the other end.  Aren't there laws to protect the public from this?

Come on FCC do something----anything!!

866-226-1906 they call and say they are the DMV. Isn't this illegal to pose as a state agency? Like fraud?

You call back and they identify as DNB- but never connect you with anyone. Frauds, frauds, frauds.

This is a credit reporting agency, Dunn & Bradstreet, the call comes when an outside party inquires about your business credit rating.  the answer the phone as "D 'n' B" which could easily sound like DMV.  Most Government agencies answer with the actual name of the agency, and not an acronym.

Calls all the time to my place of business and hangs up.  Make it stop!

We don't have caller ID at work, but today I finally remembered to hit *69 - found out the call and hang up was 866-226-1906. If this is Dun & Bradstreet, I'll let my boss know.

There is something we all can do. In fact,I just did it myself.
I have been also receiving several calls a day from this number for the last 2 months.  
If you are registered with the National Do Not Call Registry Program,telemarketers are not supposed to call you for the term of 5 years (from the time you register). I registered in 2005,so my registration is in effect until 2010.

If we all do this, there may be a good chance that these phone calls will cease!

I've been getting a bunch of 866 calls, all seem to be scam/frauds.  Like "clams" above, I went to the Do not call site and put all the 866 numbers that have been calling me into separate complaints.  Everyone else do the same!  I am SICK of the phone ringing and I have no idea who it is, they will not tell me either!  I wish there was a way for the gov to catch them earlier.  They are intruding on my personal space....very uninvited calls.

Call came in no one was on the line they it just hung up. I just registered again under the https://www.donotcall.gov again to make sure that these numbers are registered

Picked up and caller stuttered and asked about my phone line being a business line.  I said "NO" and she tried to ask more questions.  Something to the effect of Jerry Falwell...WHAT?  HUng up and then I called back and yes, it does sound like DMV but it must be D&B.  Crock of POO-POO!!!!!

This number called our house several times, in a 20 minute time frame.  Google search comes back to a Dun and Bradstreet.  After asking repeatedly to be taken off list, they just called and called and called.  When asked where from, would not say.  One person had Indian accent.  Hung up on me several times.  Reported DnB to BBB--serveral located in U.S.  Chose one from NY.  If scam using their number, maybe this will push the real DnB to do something.  I am sure I am not the first to do this either.
