They called my Dads house(which I have never lived at)and said that it was an important bussiness matter, they wouldnt tell him anything. Just asked for me to call back.

I received an automated call from 321-283-0688 telling me to call @ 877.227.9324 to retrieve my message. I didn't call but, I want to know who is it.

Keeps calling. Rarely leaves a message only says "Important Business" if anyone answers. Won't give company name. Called my daughter's cell phone and tried to get her to give him my cell number. She refused and he hung up.

This is a debt collector called NCO Financial Systems or some variant.  They troll the Internet phone directories looking for people with the same last name and first as debtors.  I received a call from them yesterday and had to call them back to tell them that I'm not the individual they are looking for.  I have a common last name so I get lots of calls from debt collectors.  It's never fun no matter how often it happens.  The FTC requires them to quit calling if you request it.  I get so many of these kinds of calls that the FTC has me keeping a log for them.  The best action to take is to call them and request them to remove your phone number from the debtor's account records.  Once they program your phone number into their robo-dialler, they just keep calling and calling.  I call it "Dialling for Dollars."

Someone called the school where I work and asked to speak to me about "a personal matter".  I am not allowed to receive phone calls at school, so this could get me in trouble..

Caller called my sister to get to me.   Talk about invasion of my privacy.

while i do have some credit cards that have gone into collections, i would assume that any collection agency that has assumed this debt and is trying to collect it would have my own personal numbers. i work for a bank, so these clowns from NCC Business Services (said his name was Orlando) called the local bank branch in the town where i live trying to reach me. the teller there who took the call told him that i did not work at a branch and that she could not give out any information about me but that she would email me his info. the lengths these guys go to to contact someone

NCC Business Services  -  they call but don't leave a message.  Ah, the joys of getting someone else's phone number after they run up their bills.

If you just "ABSOLUTELY" have to call this number back in order to see who's calling you, please sign into a free Skype account to do it.  Even if you block your phone number, these toll free (800, 877, 866) numbers are able to see the number you're calling from.  I usually call them from Skype or a business number that won't give them any idea who called them back.  Truly, they're sneaky and will use any advantage to trick you if they think they've got "a live one".  Pathetic.

It's NCC Business Services, a debt collector.  They represent all sorts of companies.

Got a call from this number saying they were a debt collector and stressed it was very important that I call them.
