Someone from this number called a relative of mine and tolf them i missed a court date, the persoon is a liar, no one has served me or then any letters about a court date to my home , just a collection agency employing new tactics in which i even know are legal

Yea they call a few times a week and say that I have been ignoring them, and this is my last warning (last warning the last 20 times) and that I will be served at my place of employment or at my home. These collection agency idiots just will say or use any tactic to get you to pay. Its probably some old bill from 15 years ago back when I had some financial issues. Oh well unfortunately I wont pay them.

Just received a call from "Angela White" saying she wanted to know the protocol at my job to serve me a court summons for 2 fraud charges against me. She said I needed to contact the RH Group to find out the details.  She said it was very weird that I didn't know I was being charged.  I asked her what county the summons was for so I could look up the case online...no case with the case number provided nor my name showed up.

These people and their cheesy scare tactics, have they not heard of The Fair Debt Collections Act?? They are in violation using unfair practices, such as, utilizing threat tactics.  

Send them a ciest and disist letter to stop!

This number is calling me about once a week, never give the name of the collection agency or creditor Only identification is that it is this guy is named Steve Ward and this is my final warning as he is going to serve me at home or work. He gives a fake court number on my machine and tells me this is my only notice. I have checked on the number, it is nothing even like the court case numbering in my state.

This is not how court cases work, you must recieving something in writing and they have to let you know the amount owed by mail, the plantiff's name and collection agency being used.

I believe this to be an unscrupulous company attempting to collect some old credit card debt from ten years or so ago on my record.

This same guy calls me every week too, can set my clock by his calls. Wish I could find out who he works for as he constantly breaks the law with his legal threats.

I suggest no one lose any sleep over his calls, they are digging for info so they can collect from people who they trick into giving them current addresses and info.

My call today involved the same scam details but caller I.D. said "Private number."  The "process server" has me write down 1-877-743-5307 and "case number" 103986-xxxx (last 4 of my my ss#). I asked her what this "case" was about and she said they are 'sealed charges.'  When I called the number answer was automated saying the company name "RH Group" -- she had alleged that these would be an attorney group. Ha! So then the head collection agent comes on and tells me I would be charged with "fraudulent use of a check" blah blah, process server would serve me with court summons regarding litagation filed against me, blah blah, and then tried to get me to pay him $590 to avoid the court and wouldn't have to pay the $200 process server fee if I did.

What really is disturbing, though, is that I have had this Tracphone that has no name associated with the account for less than 2 months so how did these [***] get my number -- had my name attached to this number.  

Yet they didn't know that I haven't had a checking account for 15 or more years so there could not be any fraudulent use of a check on my part??

I must have put some of my info online when I ordered something or requested some information for them to have gotten my number. Live and learn, right? The Internet is full of back door thieves and scammers, parasitic con artists.

The first red flag was process servers NEVER call to warn you they are coming to serve you with papers. Further, if I were going to be charged with fraudulent check use I'd have been charged already -- things don't work backward like that.

I'm getting a new phone TODAY.       .

The same situation has happened to me - I have filed a complaint with the federal authorities after reading all of these complaints.  These people have scared me and people that actually don't even really know me.  The name given : Troy Matthews and  #1-877-306-1807.  The federal authorities now have all the information to investigate.

Just calles.me had to laugh said I had .cash.advance.and he Was coming with atthorites to get me who calls frist lol but he did  scare my mom this is a debt collector nothing more his name Wss steve cane he said 18773061807 with rh group dont let these people upset you.
