Call from "Christopher Samuels" stating local number - made big deal out of it. Gave both a 866 and a local number, asking to return call immediately.  Did say it was a private matter, of course it's a collection agency.

Every time try to call back I am put on hold & eventually lost - never speak to a real person - the line disconnects - recording says my call is important to them. Maybe collection for a medical bill.....

Msg was left saying from Krista Busch (sp?) from Madison office.  No answer - only msg saying call is important to them.   I have no outstanding debt so can't imagine a collection agency

Came up as "Restricted", caller left voicemail as Krista Busch, provided this and a local # to call back to.  I do currently have debt w/ UW Hospital, sounds like collections regarding that.

This number has been calling incesantly and stals my voice mail, by changing my voice mail pass word!!! This is highly illeagal, and I have reported it to att and FBI and numerous other authority agencies.

They call me about twice a week and have been for about a year now.  They either use the number from this forum, or another number which is similar.  The recording always tells me I have an unpaid Direct TV bill.  Which is funny, because we don't have TV.  Definitely a scam.  Sure wish they'd stop calling me!  It's gotten beyond ridiculous!

UW Hospital collection agency.  Ignore them - they can do nothing to you

Actually, they can sue you on behalf of UW Hospital.  Have had it happen to me.  Best thing is to deal with UW Hospital directly to get the bills taken care of.

I don't have any medical bills at all let alone UW... And I get calls fr this number. I think it's gotta be a scam ....

The number is from Wisconsin state collections.

It is a collection agency for UW Hospital. And yes they can sue you. It happened to me also. I actually got a court summons served to me at my home that I had to appear in court for it, because I wasn't paying. Deal with it right away, because this type of thing doesn't go away. UW Hospital doesn't mess around.

They can report the debt and it will be attached to your credit report.  Answer it and make arrangements...  Or you can call their direct number at 608-661-3000

Idiocy. I didn't check the number and then heard "this-call-is-being-recorded" urgh. Had no choice but to transfer them to the person they were asking for. STOP CALLING!!
