This number calls ALL the time, have no idea who or what they are...Anyone have a clue?  Very bothersome...

I get calls from this number almost every day.  I don't pick it up because I don't recognize the number, but I have a feeling it is a telemarketer.

Call is from Vonage representative.  Odd though, my second phone line is with Vonage already.  I suspect their reviewing our phone records and randomly calling select numbers you dial frequently.  The number they called on is not even on my account as a contact number.  Big brother is always watching.

I got a call from Vonage offering me service on, are you ready for this???

Said they were Sprint but sounded kind of sketchy...

Said they were sprint and offered a free phone. Said I forgot my password and they went through their "verification" process, which was a bunch of random questions that were crap. Total Scam.

Got a call from them on my cell phone.  Called back, got Vonage who seemed to be surprised I would be getting a call from them.  Was transferred to customer service who added me to their 'do not call' list, they seemed to genuinely regret the phone calls.  Especially when I told them I was on the Federal do not call list and I would be submitting a complaint to the FTC if this happened again.

Received a letter with number 1-888-468-1412
Letter stated that my account was in Suspended status - I do NOT HAVE A Vonage account.
When I called they transferred me over to 866-243-4357. Some of the questions made me suspicious, so hung up eventually when I searched google for this number and the only results it showed were complains.
Has vonage become a fraud?

Yes, I too suspect this to be a scam.  I noticed a charge on my MasterCard account form Vonage last month and it had this 866 number on the line item.  I called to tell them that it was a fraudulent charge as I do not have a Vonage account and never signed up or asked for one.

The "representative" told me that their fraud department had already flagged this as a fraudulent charge and had cancelled the account.  She then told me that because my credit card had been associated with the fraud, they were unable to credit it back to that card number.  She asked for for a different card number that she could credit it to.  I refused to give her my credit card number and asked her to mail a check to my home address.  She said they couldn't do that either.  She then asked me for my checking account number so she could make the deposit there.  Again, I refused to give her that information and she said that there would be no way for me to receive a credit back then.

I will have to pursue this through my MasterCard company as a fraudulent charge.  I am not convinced that this is really Vonage, though.

Since signing up for Vonage in early July 2010  I have been bombarded at home by calls from Anonymous.  they never leave a message and I won't answer calls from anonymous.  Now in August, I called them about 2 calls they claimed I made in the early morning hours from my cell phone.  Well now I have received about 5 calls from anonymous in a row, alternating between the house phone and the cell phone. Down right harrassment.

STOP VONAGE.

I called vonage to see what the phone service would be like in comparison to my ATT. I was accused of hanging up on a female representative today. I was on the other phone line with my wife. The call was accidently dropped when the call came in from my wife. After being accused of hanging up on this rep, she called me back again. I told her I do not appreciate being accused of hanging up on her. She was persistent that I did just that. I told her not to call me anymore. I do not want to do business with vonage. She continued to call me thereafter numerous times. I am filing an FCC complaint now.

It is Vonage Customer Service. They have all calls recorded on file. Call that number on the caller ID and tell them you want NO MORE CALLS and be put on a DO NOT CALL LIST OF THEIRS. Then, contact the FCC online and file a complaint about getting too many calls. They have a serious record as you can see here of harassing people for services.

It's Vonage.  Interesting twist.  Left a message that said, "Looks like you called us...If you have any questions or concerns, please call us...

Received a call from this number at 11pm Sunday night..no message left.
Apparently this is a Vonage service number.
Just wondering why Vonage would call at 11 pm at night??
I would like an explanation.

I have found vonage to be fine to deal with and very helpful when there are any problems.
if that changes I will let you know. 6 months with them now.

I had sent an email to Vonage asking for help, and they courteously called me to help me back. I am grateful for that.

I didn't answer the first call and checked here and saw that it was Vonage. It would have helped allay my suspicion in answering the call if they had Vonage on the caller ID. Luckily they called back.

This form's Call Type does not include a legitimate caller, so I had to select Unknown even though it is known.

I have been with Vonage for 5 years and have found it to be a good bargain. Vonage is less expensive than other phone companies and have more features, including 800 numbers. I brought my Calif number with me when I moved to WA. They've always been helpful. There have been a few problems, but they were solved pretty quickly.

And you were ... randomly screening for Vonage customer service number on internet ... to find and leave a comment about how good Vonage is ?
