I got a computer generated voice message for my husband's previous wife from this number.  Claimed to be a law firm and said it was urgent that she call back.  We have no contact with her.   Who are they?  can't find any real info on the web.  Called themselves Stevens & Michael's Law Firm.

Eh ~ 866-261-7666...called me..hung out on the line as the computer generated voice pronounced my name wrong ~ after a bit of music..voice came on and simply said " stevens & michaels law firm " followed up again with " goodbye "

I imagine it was just a load of crap...fortunately this is the first time they've called me..

They call and leave a message for joseph somebody, who i don't know, and say please call back steven's and michael's law firm.

this company or whatever calls at least once or twice a week various times of the day. never a live voice only computer generated voice saying "please call the law firm of Stevens & Michaels @ 1-866-261-7666.

It's id'ed as an "800 service" on my caller ID.  I called and was treated rudely by a customer service representative who said I owed them money and needed to immediately wire the money or else my car or home would be taken or they would contact my employer, ruin my job and take all my earnings.  I told him I didn't know what he was talking about; he called me a liar and there was a "world of hurt" coming my way if I didn't pay.  He said "my computer can't lie, you owe us -plain and simple."

Stephens & Michaels must be a collection firm that buys old debt at pennies on the dollar and harasses people for profit.  Shameful, immoral and likely illegal conduct from a firm of jews... what do you expect?

I got my first call today from these clowns from this number. They used to call from 866-201-0940. I told them they have the wrong number a couple of times but they continue to call and ask for different people. I do not know any of these people that they ask to speak with. They refuse or are too incompetent to correct their records. Are they just playing phone roulette?
They are NOT a law firm. If you have a recording where they state that they are, file a complaint with the FTC. They are a clueless, bottom feeding collection agency that cannot pull their collective heads out of their [***] long enough to correct their database and stop harassing people.

Rude, abusive - violating federal and state laws - stevens & michaels law firm, claimed i owe a debt from 10 years ago... If they are a law firm, they know the law. Jf they're not, the are representing themselves as attorneys and practicing law without a license...so there, that ought to stop htem

The people there need some lessons in phone ettiquett ASAP.

Why leave a prerecoded message afraid to talk to a real person?

This number is Stephens and Micheals is a POS collection agency that use a law firms name as a front.

hey everyone..all you need to do is call this number back...over and over and over again, when they answer just hang up and call again!! over load their system. If we all do this we can drive them crazy.

I have had several messages from 866-261-7666 for a person who does not live at this residence, and he is not known to anyone at this residence. The messages left are from males and female voices, with the female having a British accent. The messages say to call the firm of Stevens and Michaels. When attempting to call the company to tell them that the person they are asking for does not live at our home, I only get a prolonged concert of music and no answer. I don't know who they are, but if they were a reputable firm they would have an answering service at the least.

I really don't think it was from your husbands ex-wife....British, right?

My business alson receives calls from this number at least twice a week and really is annoying.

i receive calls from this numer since several weeks, the voice recorder ask to speak to a women named Sonja... I always hang up on them. I now try to see when them fooles will stop calling.
Shame on them, get your records straight, and if you are a law firm or a collector than get your intiere business straight and stop acting like a thief!!!.

I work for a newspaper and get at least 3 to 4 calls a day from this number. Can't seem to get it thru their heads to stop calling!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been getting calls from these people for over three years.  The call is for somebody who had my number before.  I returned their call once, and told them that the person they were wanting to contact no longer had that number.  Three years later and they are still calling.

I was divorced in 2001, and had my phone number changed after the divorce.  My ex-wife was never at this phone number.  I just got a call from this company (Stevens and Michaels) today.  It said press 1 if you are this person, press 2 if you are not the person.  I pressed 2, then it said press 1 if you are this person, press 2 if the person needs more time to get to the phone, or press 3 if this is a wrong number.  I pressed 3 and it said 'hold so we can update your records'.  When I got a person, I told them that she hadn't lived here for over 8 years.  It probably won't stop the calls.

I had the British female voice call once, but I was on the other line so I didn't know it was for the same company.  I actually liked the sound of the voice.

It's kind of interesting to see how the colleciton agencies work.  I started getting calls from collection agencies shortly after the divorce, and am still getting them.  The best one was a knock on the door looking for her - the guy had a clipboard and a TOW TRUCK.  I guess she decided to stop making the car payments.

This "Stevens & Michael's Law Firm." is been calling me several times a day with computer generated voices, asking for some "Linda Something" I don't know, but I can't speak with anyone or call back to tell them to stop. For what I've been reading here, it's worthless anyway.
