keep getting calls from this number and theyhang up. don't want any more calls. how can i avoid this.

got a phone call from this number today.   No message, just a hangup.   Who is this?

This caller is from the leukemia and lyphoma society.  I called the number back from my work number and that is what answers.  They call everyday from several different numbers and never leave a message.

I called the number back, and like others have said it's the Lymphoma and Leukemia society doing a fundraiser.  If you stay on the line, you can press "1" to have your number removed.

The "866" was blocked so only the 7 digit number showed.
They call 2-3 times/day every day of the week.

I've asked them to remove our number at least 10 times .... never do ... becoming a pain in the a** !!! They refuse to remove your numbers.

I have receive no less than 20 calls from this number. They never leave a message and there is no way that I am going to pick up a call from an unknown caller.

These calls are driving me crazy....at my home as well as at my Mothers...She is just out of the hospital post surgery and is going back in for more surgery next Monday...she was rushing to answer the phone and fell....wish they would stop calling....We have enough on our minds right now without the constant ringing of the phone by unwanted callers.

8 times we've put in our phone number to have it removed. when they repeat it to confirm the number it is always wrong, and we know that we've entered it correctly (several people in my household have done it). finally, we decided to say it was the correct number(even though it wasn't) to see where it would go from there and they told us they had 30 days to remove it by law. we are contacting our local state's attorney and the fcc.

Same as above. We've entered the number numerous times and when they've repeated it to confirm, it's always been wrong. It's extremely frustrating.

I don't normally answer these calls unless I feel like messing with them.

When you see a suspicious number on caller ID answer the phone like a kid "Hellwow", then tell them "I'll get my mom" and set the phone down and go about your business, clang stuff around by the phone... whatever, until you hear the error message on the phone... "bah, bah , bah... if you'd like to make a call please hang up and try your call again". It's loud enough to hear without picking up the phone to listen and it is kinda fun to waste their time... you know?

yes us too again and again , now they just let it ring twice and don't even let it go to machine.

I have OOMA VOIP Phone.  There is a blacklist function with OOMA.

Any of these junk phone call numbers only calls once.  Then they are blacklisted and never hear the phone ring again from that number.

Ah, when these calls first started coming in, I answered one & they asked for my husband. Wouldn't tell me who they were or what they wanted. I *67'd & called the # back & the recording said it was March of Dimes. Really stupid fundraising! I too am going to go to the State Attorney's office on this one after reading all your comments. I get calls from this number several times a week...I never answer as it is an unknown caller and I never answer those calls.  At first, they would let it ring enough times to go to the answer machine but never left a message.  Now it just rings 3 or 4 times so it never goes to the answer machine.

Same information as all the above. No one is ever on the line with these calls.

It's the Leukemia/Lymphona Society. I'm SO SICK of their calls. They have called every day for the last 5 days.
