This number calls our home daily 4-5 times a day and is always looking for the "WRONG" person!  We have said this numerous times the person you are looking no longer has that number. STOP CALLING!

This is what I've found out about these people..I called them back. I was asked if a certain person lived here, I said NO and they said they would take me off their calling list..We'll see!
I have been getting calls for the last 5 yrs for this person, I guess he had my number before I did.

They started calling me saying I owed them money on an account from about 10 years ago. Funny that they didn't start calling until I started applying to buy a house, then all of a sudden this account was past due, even though I paid it off long ago. Now they have started calling but then hanging up when I call. Pure harrassement.

Received numerous computer generated calls from 866-269-9861.  I called back to explain the person that they were looking for did not have this number.  This is a law firm, Blatt, Hasenmiller, Leibsker & Moore, 125 SOuth Wacker, Ste 400, Chicago, IL 60606, that is collecting debts.  I first spoke with "Tiffany" when I asked for the address of the law firm, she asked for my name and #.  I repeated that I needed their address, she kept asking for my name and number in a rude tone.  I explained that she either give me the address or I would report them to the State Attorney General's office.  She hung up.  I called back and spoke with "Angelo" who was polite and professional and provided the information that I wanted.  I then spoke with a supervisor, "Mr. Lesley", who also was polite and took my complaint about "Tiffany".

This is BHLM (Blatt Hassenmiller Leibsker and Moore).  We had a delinquent account, and while they are very persistent...they are also VERY willing to work with people.  I had a large debt...but they were willing to reduce it and accept payments.  I have had bad experiences with others...but they are a legit company...an although they are a PITA...they seem to work pretty well with me so far.

They just called me for the first time today. Reading the rest of the comments on here it seems that this is a number for a debt law firm or something. One I don't have any debts. Two they called my cell phone. They didn't leave a message. My accounts that I have, have never been negative. So why the hell are they calling me

BHLM "law" firm-aka "debt collector"  They DO NOT work with you, that's a bunch of bull. You could offer them your first born and left leg and they still wouldn't be satisfied. They are very deceptive.

They are among the worst of the current crop of bottom-feeding parasitic scum preying on the misfortunes of others.  There are a lot of tools you can use to fight them, search around the internet and educate yourself, you have many more options and a lot more power than you think.

If the debt is not yours and they keep calling anyway, make sure to get on the Do Not Call list at www.donotcall.gov and (after the thirty day wait) report them for those violations. If they make any kind of threat (they conned one poor lady into thinking they would take out a "warrant" on her) report them to the Attorney General.  If enough people file complaints, we can get them shut down, it's happened before!

Then you need to either write or call them to have your number removed.  they dont know they have the wrong number unless you tell them.  It is typical for collection agencies to make 4 or 6 attempts on a day before leaving a message for the party they are trying to reach.  They dont want to waste time calling the wrong # so if its not you they are looking for then they will remove the #.  If it is you and you dont want them calling you they have to stop communicating with you if you make the request in writing.

BS, I told them twice they were calling the wrong number. I've started blocking the numbers they call from.

I get the same thing, constantly asking for a person I've never heard of, been going on for years. Tried telling them I've never heard of this person and they refused to believe me. I don't even answer anymore and have blocked most of them. This one is still calling however

They started calling my house months ago for another person, now they are calling me, but using my maiden name. They keep asking me to give them my social security number over the phone, I told them no. Im not just going to give my info out to people who wont tell me anything about themselves. They call everyday numerous times a day. I also hate the fact that as soon as I answer the phone it automatically puts me on hold for 5 mins...um don't call my house to put me on hold.

This a collector. They called about an on-line loan which I never had saying it was past due. I have repeatedly asked for
proof from them that I owe this money. To date have not received anything and their rep always gets belligerent after I
ask for proof. I've submitted a complaint with FTC and am planning to get help from a debt harassment attorney.
