I called it back, it is Direct TV. I asked to be put on their "Do not call list."   The first person I asked said "Okay."  Then he promptly hung up on me.  

I called back and a got a girl who identified herself as Tomorrow Stewart.  She said she put me on the list and was kind.  

We shall see.  At least we know where the number originates now.

Call 3-4 time a day, really annoying, what happen to the do not call law???

They called and I answered.  There were some jerks that were talking and then they hung up on me.  They did this and then called back again!  Then kept calling me every day even though my phone is unlisted and on no solisitations.  We don't even have a TV at home nor do we want one.

Really? You dont have a TV but you have a computer? The do not call law is good for 5 years, so if you signed up for it when it started, you are now off, so you should probably get back on...

Calls and either hangs up or does not answer

Keep getting the call. Keep ignoring it. When I did go to answer I got a dial tone... They also don't hang up in time and leave the dial tone as a voice mail. Urgh.

This # calls often, called it back tonight the 1st person I talked to I asked to be taken off their list, he was very polite and said it would get taken care of immediatly! Let's hope

Most of the time this number would not be listed on caller ID or *69. They let this 1 slip and I called them back and told them I'm using the Unlawful calling center which wants to us to use *57 and it traces it back to the center. Its a 1.00 to do but if you use *69 its .75 even if you don't get the number.
