Got a call from this number and it was a female who said she was a bill collector but wouldn't anything else untill I conformed who I was. She gave me a phone number to lookup online and said it was the company she is working for and to call and confirm who they are. When I lookup that number 800-480-0937 all I could find was a company called "Empire State Bottle Collectors Assc".

When I looked up the number she was calling from 866-285-7362 all I could find out was it was a landline. NO WEBSITE to confirm anything she said was true.

So don't confirm anything to anyone on the phone. All it is, is to confirm your information so they can sell or use it.

 I'm receiving calls every three days from this collection agency. My situation is not going to change in three days, but they will not let up.

I received a call from this number this morning, must have been "auto-dial" because when I didn't answer, the call disconnected.  I don't know who they are but I have no debts in collection, never have had, so they are calling the wrong number.  If they call again, I will file complaint with FTC.

Some called from this number asking me for the last four of my social security number. When I refused they said no problem, they already had it and that I was being recorded. I hung up.
