Someone called my mother's # and left a mesage for me to call, they informed my mother of my employer. Called the # and this collection agency did not have any information of debts from me. Scarrrrrrrry!!!!!!

Predatory Student Loan Lender i-3 Group (website www.i-3group.com)  Not a debt collection agency (at least anymore) I got a call from them trying to get me to use them for my financial aide.  My advice is no, don't go through them, they sounded really sketchy over the phone and dodged a lot of my questions.

Glad to find these posts. I just started getting calls from them. Finally called back and they wanted me to give them my personal info. I said no and stop calling. Very creepy.

Keep receiving call from this number. They do not leave messages. I answered it and no one responded?

They keep calling but leave no message. I've gotten a call from them the last couple of days, I'm finally blocking the number and seeing if that'll get them to knock it off.

I have been getting these calls as well and they claim to be giving me good news and that they work with Ashford university. They don't answer many calls and they some how also found my job number.

Called ad didn't say anything, no message left.  I called back a few hours later and muted my end of the call and the man who answered knew my name.  CREEPY

They called me too saying South University. Interesting how they work for both. Wanted personal info without telling me why. I said bye!

Received call, answered, a recording came on that said, "hello, this call of." Then it disconnected.

These callers are hired by colleges to improve their student loan data.  They act like a collection agency and are very aggressive.  They have all of your information but can't collect money.  DO NOT TALK TO THEM--THERE IS NO REASON TO!

They have switched 800 numbers - They used to use 877-618-3648 - They do not leave a message and I do not answer any of these calls - established companies display their business name on caller ID

Same as all of you, randomly started getting calls from it. Just block & do not disturb.

I started getting daily calls from them. "This is the i-3 group calling on behalf of your former school to assist you" I have no school debt and I am not enrolled in a school.

Called me (from a local number, not the listed number) and left a message claiming they were calling on behalf of my "former school" but without giving the name of the former school. Since I have been out of school for ... let's just say a really long time, and they didn't even name the school, I smelled SCAM right away. I don't owe any money to any school, and neither does my spouse. Not returning the call.

Same here called my home number.  Did not use my home number on any forms for school.
