Constant calls from 866-297-6863. Dead air when answered. A lot of calls every day. They do not leave a message either. Usually dead air followed by a click - disconnect.

have filed a complaint against who ever this is... I receive the same call twice a day - for the last 2 months. Here is the form from the FCC to file a complaint.

If you pick up the phone when it is "RINGING", it will more than likely be a collection agency on the other end looking for any kind of info to connect you to an account or create one.  If you see the number on your caller ID and "CALL THE NUMBER", you will actually connect to the actual party that the number was assigned to.

It's called phone spoofing.  This is mostly done by collection agencies.  They pretend to be someone else and getting enough info from you to create an account.  Next thing you will get is a paper threat to pay something in full or go to court.  Some of us have been dealing with these bottom feeders for months and years.  We have programs that track and trace these numbers and then match them to the time and dates with the phone company. None have matched the actual caller.  They also spoof themselves as your neighbors. Advice: take your bill or some proof to the phone provider and have them trace.  If you owe money or have ever in the past, you can bet places like these will be faking themselves as someone else to get the data they need. Make note that these collection agencies can get a lot of info on people by accessing credit reports. Calls several times a day on my cell phone. No message left.

That is sirius radio trying to get you to resubscribe. I called it back and they said to call this number to be placed on the do not call list so i did.

They leave No message and when phone answered I do not hear anything. Happens twice a day sometimes.

In my case, I purchased a new car that came with a 6 month free subscription to their service.
I have received emails, letters, and now multiple calls to renew my subscription.
They are good marketers for sure.
Until that car purchase, I have never had any marketing communications from them.

They are not bill collectors, or anything other than a company selling a service (one that I have enjoyed for 6 months for free).

However, I hate it when this sort of call does not result in a voice mail - makes them look sort of furtive.

I am a teacher and can not answer phone each time it rings this company calls every day multiple times a day and do not leave messages

theyve called 4x in the past 24hrs, including twice on a sunday evening (?!), i didnt answer any of the calls & no voicemails were left... i brought a new car 2 months ago that came w/ a free trial subscription for serius satelite radio, theyre probably trying to sell me another subscription but i have no intentions to renew..

have you recieved calls from them after you asked them to place you on the do not call list? just curious.. some companies still call even after you've asked them not to..

This number has appeared on my phone several times. I refuse to answer unsolicited numbers as I am on the 'do not call list'.  This number (866) 297-6863  appears with 'Unknown Name' at the top.

This 866-297-6863 call twice a day they never leave a message.  Today answer and a man asks for Phillip Whitaker. I told him he have the wrong number and he apologized and hung up.  This number keeps calling my cell phone..

they call 2-3 times aday all hours of the day say nothing or u get a bunch of people talking and music in back ground      PLEASE  STOP calling i hate grtting woke up at midnite

Keep calling and they do not leave a message.  I do not answer calls I don't know the number, figure if they need to get a hold of me they will leave a message.

They call two or three times each day..before 9am, and at dinner time. Annoying..they never leave a message, and I do not answer these calls. Ive been picking up and hanging up, hopefully they will get the message
